I get the biggest kick out of these guys! This is like a breath of fresh air. Am I alone, or is this effort far and away beyond the rock and roll of today? Just very good musicians playing their hearts out, without effects or auto tune, or any other gimmicks. Just laying their effort on the line for all to see. I wish that I could have see Pokey with this combo live.
I especially appreciate the clarinet and trumpet players, because I played trumpet and picked up on my brother's clarinet pretty quick. I have a feeling that Chloe won first chair as a freshmen and was probably never challenged again, until she got to college.

I think he got caught up in timetravel experiment and got sent forward to the future, and then figured out people in the future really like vintage style music. Really cool stuff.

Generally...I am not a big fan of audience participation sing alongs,but this is pulled off with such enthusiasm,and fun and the audience does a great job of maintaining the energy of this song!!!

You do realize that 99.99% of human history with music is audience participation, right? That stage vs audience construct is only a very recent artifact of professionalization introduced by recorded music.

Saw him play Saturday Dec. 29th at Off Broadway. A great time! To think me and my wife heard this for the 1st time 4 weeks earlier to then drive 4 hours 4 weeks later to check this out is awesome is understated.

Pokey could make a cadaver shake. He could make Freud dismiss his mother. He could make fried chicken fly and fried flies chicken because his ferocious talent is scary. I only found him a year or so ago, but I love most everything he does. Pokey is poketastic!

Great music and vocals and for some reason I have a craving for shrimp gumbo.🤔 EDIT: what I love about this is there are kids being exposed to this music and having fun listing to him and his band, you never know what the rain might bring. Plus the clarinet "singer" is beautiful.
