If you don't have the special tool, you can simply place a small blade screwdriver in the slot to hold the blade still while removing the bolt. Remember as mentioned in the video, to remove turn clockwise, to tighten, turn counter clockwise.

Screw driver will work and yes the reverse thread gets a lot of people if they are not aware.
