Sanjeev - semma beautiful a teach paNra- A musical brain’s generosity. You stand on a unique pedestal of Carnatic gyaanam and great understanding of western music. Your depth is evident in your ease in switching / traveling between the 2 worlds. The ability to be lost in music yet not losing us novice listeners is the strength of this video - very well done and thank you 🙏

Dear Mr. Venkatraman,
Excellent lesson, thank you! Look forward to the next one, in this set.
When I started learning Carnatic music two years ago (at age 66!), I used a Sharpie to mark the white keys along the C major scale (my shruthi is C3) with the swaras (S, R2, G3, etc). It really helped me learn pitches.
In my humble opinion, showing a marked up keyboard may help your followers of the interval and harmony series.
Just a thought.
🙏
@jaydoraiswami4762 its a good suggestion. I wanted to explain the core concept just with swaras and as a mental exercise, if followed will definitely help in deep understanding of the concept. Also, knowledge of swaras is very important to follow this series. One has to sing and assess the space between them mentally. This is my motive 🙏🏽
It is really helpful, please continue 🙏
Thank you, I will 🙏🏽
Thank you
