Your like the only guy on TH-cam with a video of this thing, one other guy I think he just took your vid and muted you and put stock music over it. This is barely shown in the ROG 8 product video, and it's not at all shown in the 2024 ROG CES Event live broadcast, which was on the Asus websites ROG 8 launch page. Then when you go to the website, they don't show the Tessen at all, when you scroll down to the accessory showcase, they have a pic of a mouse and keyboard, but no picture of the Tessen. And it's not until you click the link at the end of the paragraph does it take you to a completely separate page showing you the ROG Tessen. Asus marketing had a major major fail here, this was my number 1 request to see from ASUS this year out of ROG Phone, because as you may know, the Kunai was "discontinued" for the 7, and they did not officially produce one. I thought they were making the same mistake this year, but they have this ROG Tessen ready to go, yet I had no freaking idea until this morning. Again, this was such a marketing fail for ASUS, thanks for showing this off. I miss the detachable controller design of the Kunai, but I can still like and appreciate the Tessen, I much rather have it, than no officially produced ROG Phone Controller at all
I don't think this is going to kill anything. I have a few different mobile controllers and while I like each one for different reasons, I think the price and feature set of the GameSir G8 Galileo is the best option. Hall effect sticks and triggers for like 80 bucks. While Elo Vegabond is doing the same for like 150. Here this one doesn't even have hall effect sticks from what I read on Asus website, which is concerning if you're going to fold up the device and put it in a pocket or something. Definitely gonna get stick drift that way. At least the other gamesir devices come with cases. The Galileo unfortunately did not however.
Their Asus ROG 8 phone isn't going to fit this and look correct because it has a super off setup USB C. It will sit super high in the controller case. That's really dumb.
think Asus made a very big mistake, first that the aeroactive cannot be used with the controller on, and on the other hand the USB port is located in the center and the Asus Rog Phone has the port further to the left
will the asus rog phone 8 have the power in center? as when i look at the Tessen it looks more for generic android phones who have power-input centered. and not any phone has the same size right.
Pretty cool looking, but the mobile game controller market is getting pretty crowded. I dont really see this one being that popular just because of its lights and a folding mechanism. They should have included hall effect sticks so they could compete with gamesir. No one has yet nailed their design and app quite yet. Gamesir would have of their mobile app wasnt the absolute worst.

The C port is slightly lower excluding the grip bezel making it just fine
What Asus needs is to center that USB type C port, it is not fun to have it on the botton side
how is it supposed to work with any ROG phones if the usb c port is in the center?
Would this fit an S23 blus with a slim case?
When is this controller even coming out?
think Asus made a very big mistake, first that the aeroactive cannot be used with the controller on, and on the other hand the USB port is located in the center and the Asus Rog Phone has the port further to the left
So I'm confused How do I have an ROG7 ultimate but can't use this? The USB c on mine is staggered to the left not centered

rog phone 8 is like previous ROG phones where the usb c port is not centered, i dont know how it wil work with this controller
For Greece, how can I find this?

I guess aerocooler is off on this one?
buying
is this compatibLe with ROG 7 uLtimate?
Doesn't appear to be with the centered usb
Omg kunai3 was better! Because you could attach aerocooler 6!
