- Indian fugitive Mehul Choksi, who is also the uncle of Nirav Modi had escaped to Antigua and Barbuda four years ago after his name surfaced in the infamous PNB Scam. He was accused of taking a loan of thousands of crores from the bank and never repaying the money. He used the golden visa programme to get the citizenship. He has recently being in the news again as he was found mysteriously missing from Antigua and in the country of Dominica. Antiguan PM has been trying to extradite him back to India as he accuses him of having links with opposition politicians in Dominica. I explain this mystery and different allegations in this video.

In my opinion the bankers that took bribe and cleared this loan from bank, are the biggest frauds. Every businessman while taking loans from bank will provide revenue projections of his company. In these documents they will obviously highlight the good points in favour of their proposal. It is for the bank and CAs to do due diligence.
The officers and CAs of the banks duly and diligently went over their kickbacks and found everything to be in its rightful place.
