    Nice necklaces and paper beads. I remember when paper beads were all the talk. I brought one of the hand machine and scrap book paper and made some, thanks for sharing. I should pull mine back out.

      Yes, you should pull them back out. It is much easier with that hand roller, isn't it? :)

      @@tappingflamingo yes, I used modgepod shiny glue. Sealed the beads and made them shiny

    I make tons of paper beads, I use magazines, also my old telephone books, junk mail & even my last year's insurance coverage book, I just got done making flying saucer beads a bit tricky at first, But I finally got the hang of it. I usually paint the plainer beads & seal them with floor sealing acrylic, it's very low cost & it works great & it smells a lot better than Mod Podge. I sometimes glue tiny embezzlements to my beads & hang charms from some of them. I reside in Spokane, WA, I've been here for 10 years & relocated here from central Oregon from 1995 to 2005, before that I lived in Colorado, AZ, Utah, Tn, Ga & NH & a few other places, I enjoy traveling & I'm getting the traveling bug again, as I've stayed put here in Spokane for nearly 10 years, yup time to go again.

      @@melodyengland4439 I bet phone books would make great looking beads. Floor sealer? Great idea.

    Halo from 🇨🇼Curaçao🇨🇼. In the past very long time ago I made paper beads but never made jewelries. As here I couldn't get many crafting materials. I hope I would be able to find the glaze. And from my childhood I have learned to recycle. I'm happy seeing this and many other crafting on social media. Your beads are beautifull. Thank you for sharing. Blessings for being so talented and keep up the good work. Whenever I have some of my work done I will show them to you. Thank you again

      @tappingflamingo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wonderful! I would love to see them! I can only find the glaze online. I have not been able to find it in any stores around here. Recycling is so good. I've even recycled old guitar strings into ornaments and jewelry, which I have several videos on that. Thank you so much for watching!

    I made some polymer clay beads I had mixed some of my son's funeral flowers. I just put some earrings together with them the other evening. I love paper beads! I have a necklace that I can wrap around my wrist about four times to wear as a bracelet.

      That is a really cool idea...using your son's funeral flowers with the clay to make earrings. I'm sure those are very special to you. I am really sorry about your son. I love making jewelry that you can wear different ways. Have a blessed week!

    I was just checking out your gorgeous jewelry again & that coppery pendant, hey how about adding a bit of mica dust or eye shadow on it & seal it on.

    Making jewelry is the most difficult part. It is so hard to get the ideas .

      I teach jewelry classes, and that’s what everybody tells me. That’s probably the hardest thing for most peoples actually coming up with the designs. Thanks for watching!
