A few things you forgot, while I have the other option, the 6.2 engine, driving the truck, the big things I appreciate the most, the better leather material, the adjustable rear view mirror/screen so you are not trying to look over the back seat headrests with no blind spots! , of course the self driving cruise control, which when activated, will even change lanes WITH a trailer attached and allow plenty of room! Now the inside, the ultimate comes with 2 major improvements not available in the regular Denali model, we’ve gone over the material for the seats , but this one has an even more upgraded stereo speaker setup, and the biggest enjoyment has to be the massage seats in the front, not only can do you have multiple options ( switchable on main screen) of all types of massage 😊😊 and because of the gas model, when you put the suspension in the firmer setting it also opens up the exhaust system!- not as loud as my Corvette, and certainly not as old as my Captain Call on my boat, but these are THE best things , in my opinion, when considering this upgrade, on this truck!
I had a 6.2 Denali, traded it with 80k, I am an easy driver and used regular until I was going to pull my trailer. GM "recommends" premium if you want/need the full power/performance. The mileage was just a little better on premium but no where near the added cost. I watched a video testing the 6.2 on regular and they couldn't find any issues. I feel if regular was going to destroy your 6.2 it would be called a necessity to use premium.
I bought one and Love it! A 2024 Denali, not the Ultimate. 24k miles Supercruise is great, fuel economy is awesome! 600 mile trip on I-75, 80 mph, averaged 31.78 mpg! 0 issues.
Gimme a break. “Not a result of the economy”? Yeah, the auto industry is somehow insulated from the idiots in Washington DC who knowingly crashed the economy and hate America as we once knew it.
I currently own a 2023 F150 Powerboost Lariat. I recently got into a minor accident and have been wanting to trade it in for a 2024 GMC Denali or Denali Ultimate 6.2L V8 because of its appearance. I test-drove the Denali and Denali Ultimate, and their acceleration felt very heavy. After looking at some pros and cons between the two, I've decided that I am sticking with the F150 because it has more pros than cons compared with the Denali. This is just my opinion. Others may not feel the same.
@@michaelle6610 That's funny because I just test drove a 1500 Elevation today which had the 5.3 V8. I absolutely loved the truck but the seats were horrendous. Horrible. Just horrible. I wanted to love it, I still might make peace with it but it will be difficult. I have a V8 F150 Lariat on order which should be delivered in September. I think I will stick with the F150.
Another salesman who doesnt know what he is talking about in terms of towing... 8800lbs not 13000lbs and check each truck for payload limit and The Denali Ultimate 1500 does not come in Thunderstorm Grey either! Sterling metalic 👍
I also just purchased a Denali in Thunderstorm gray and the towing is only 8,800….because of the suspension. The motor easily handles the 13,000lbs. The 3L diesel motor is phenomenal!
I’m with you 😅 I hate the world has shifted to make vehicles and housing almost impossible for some people. There’s no telling how much more prices will rise.
You don’t have to set or turn on your cruise control first before selecting Super Cruise. Just hit the button if the dash /HUD shows a white steering wheel (meaning road is mapped and system can super cruise);
Leafs springs means it will last the longest. That's what I want if I am paying this kind of $. Or u can buy a ram with air suspension that will fuck up within the 1st year.
13k towing on a half ton is misleading, and all manufacturers do it. I’m guessing the payload is around 1500 pounds. Figure 10% tongue weight of a 13,000 pound trailer is1300 pounds, that leaves around 200 pounds for passengers and everything else you bring with you. Not practical. On another note, anyone that would use an $85k truck for work has more money than brains.
Gee another shade of gray available… gray has been offered in2-3 color shades since 2012 … it’s getting old yuk , just like gray walls, gray furniture, gray flooring- triple yuk… how about a hunter green?? Or blood colored burgundy - burgundy today is nothing more than a shade darker than bright red..
don’t buy gm trucks. i have a Denali ultimate 2023 and the esc service light turns on and i lose steering wheel power and control so i get in to a crash i hit the curb so gmc dealer told me to call my insurance. so my question was the sensors of the truck have a malfunction so now is my insurance problem to fix my vehicle
This guy is so misleading for several things including but not limited to the interior color for the DU is the same for every exterior color not just the blue......go with the 6.2L who is paying $85k for a 3.0 diesel (hard pass)

Lol all that and still no pano sunroof or cooled rear seats. At least they finally added adjustable seat belt anchors 😂
No pano roof quite surprised... are the seats better than the regular Denali? I've heard their uncomfortable very stiff

$85,000 is not a result of “the economy”. It’s mostly due to price gouging by manufacturers.

Some dealers are discounting Denali's 10k...so there is that at least
I’ll be ordering one next week..
How does this accelerate to highway speeds and for passing with that little HP?

The 2022 Black Wheels look significantly better than the 2023-24 wheels.
