"Mä oon niin vitun överit" :D Finland \o/
Great show, I can't believe I've never seen this Madventures
+ChillUniversity One of the best shows i've ever seen, especially the first 2 seasons. Too bad foreigners can't have the best experience because they speak Finnish (English in season 3), but i'm sure there's Eng subtitles available.
Madventures is being shown in Canada too.
I had ~20 shroom trips before I took Ayahuasca in Peru. It's similar and will take you to similar places, but you will become very, very aware of your body, your past-eaten food, toxins, etc. This is why many people vomit, the ayahuasca seems to creep throughout the branches of your system, examining, studying, and deciding what to keep and what to discard. I purged the first few times, and the purges were always associated with feelings of psychological (not just physical) illness, but after a few times the purging stopped. That's when the most beautiful visions were had, stuff that would just overwhelm me in waves of indescribable emotion and beauty. There is a word we use a lot in the united states but too commonly to have the meaning that it is supposed to: awesome. Being completely humbled in the presence of godlike awe. You just can't imagine the art and beauty and powerful emotions that you will behold. They are absolutely extraordinary, and I often found myself lying on the ground unable to do anything but cry tears of beauty and joy.
Ayahuasca teaches you how to live your life better. I came back to the US and started back at my job, around all the "normal" people, next thing I knew I ate meat and drank alcohol again, then I started to feel the afterglow (which can last weeks) fade. I need to go back to Peru, take the medicine again, and get my life straight once and for all and never change back to the sick way so many of us americans live.
I don't think that you should wait to go back to Peru to change. That's an illusion of tomorrow. Change happens slowly I've found. It's in your life now where you have to make the change. Stop drinking alcohol and eating junk food if you feel that's wrong, and start feeling what's right to do. There is no go back to Peru and get your life straight once and for all and never change back. That never happens, trust me. It is an illusion that will stop you doing what you need to do to make the changes now.
Having said that your experience sounds very fortunate and insightful. Nice vision of the weeding out process of your system.
sounds good can you telll me by wich shaman you where?
Not exactly sure how I ended up here. I think I was enjoying some VNV Nation, and it led me here, I lost count how many times I've seen them live. Ronan is always getting the crowd hyped up. Anyhow, I had the opposite experience as far as the order goes. I did ayah about 10 times first, then shrooms a handful of times after that. I agree, they are similar in nature to similar places, and it is nature, but it takes a different route (root? hehe) and there's a different driver to that place.
what god u mean?? christian or other bullshit.. there is the god always on the mankind, egyptian spartans judish koran all this is lais, only god is universe and higs boson ho make material on mas btw i belive on others side and demons.. and thats the trhuth
and i want see u eat 20 GOOD SHROOMS AND DRINK THAT SHIT I DRINK and u say that shit on this forum.. i
I dig what your guys are doing here. Gives me inspiration to keep working.
Man, their singing is so ballin.
im too scared to try this lol. though i love pscilo mushrooms. best thing Ive ever experienced. but props to those who have the courage to do this
dont be afraid, just make sure theres a good shaman with you
I did ayahuasca with these people and they are great! Love them
You can experience ayahuasca in Ecuador or Peru quite easily. The tricky part is finding a more traditional experience which is much better than some New Age version. The ayahuaquero in this video appears to be a very traditional one. Should be taken as deep in the rainforest as possible and after at least a day of fasting, preferably preceded by more days on a special diet.
wow thats chilll maan! thanks for video
"I'll get over it in a couple of years...or I mean hours"
Ive done a lot of acid. shrooms. never the deemsters. i learned about ayahuasca in middle school from a kid who has done this stuff
Anthony + Madventures = awesome
Im not any bit religious but i could see how experiencing this would give insight to living a better life physically and mentally. Flashbacks of painfull memories and secrets in the subconcious would overwhelming if you didnt know it wasnt real but instead ur mind has just been opened up to everything its been supressing.
"this is a fucking nightmare."
that looked pretty gruesome. i dont know if i could go through that.
nice to let ppl know about things...
nice program
I dont like to see ayahuasca sessions filmed. They cant really show more than 10% of what's really happenning there. Anyway it's good to see that these guys were really honest about how intense and personal the experience can be. I've done it twice and it's been the best and the worst things that have every happened in my life. It is something very serious that demands a lot of respect
This show is frekin sweet.
I threw up on my first Ayahuasca trip as well, a lot,
second and third time not so much anymore. But still it's a HELL of a trip :D
thats a great way to look at it having never done them :-)
Its madventures, so they did it the mad way haha, no diet brings u lot of vomiting.
ayahusca its realy 10 poverful like a LSD, i type on LSD and figure thats not my thing, i wanna smoke only 420
I hope these two suckers keep on wandering. I'm just watching them retch, crap and roll from the comfort of my home, and still I feel a vague sense of a greater grasp on reality through their encounters. This is entertainment, there's no escaping that, but still through the lines I can catch the strange feeling that there is more to the world than what we learn from the newspapers, the schoolbooks, and our well-meaning officials. Learning may hurt, as this clip tells us.
I had a Ayuasca ritual recently, and i can say it was the most powerfull experience i ever had ! But its hardcore dont expect it to be easy and shiny !
Amazing Best Thing I Have Seen All Month Thank you
I like how they are always objective with everything. Like they seem to be liberty oriented in their values, and they could have said that it was an awesome experience and western culture is stupid for not liking it. But instead they said that it wasnt the greatest thing, but it was an amazing experience and that the west should tolerate it. They seem like really honest people, we need more ppl like this in America.
Damn, that's amazing, I defy anyone to reference a 93 year old who looks that good, I heard a reference on coast to coast by a shaman who says that he looks 15 years younger than his brother who is 4 years younger than him. Sod anti ageing cream, take note ladies, take Ayahuasca!!!
I've done this in my travels. Even here in Mexico made with Mimosa hostilis(the root) and Syrian Rue(MAO inhibitor). It is very powerful and amazing digital experience for me. The vomiting only lasted only a couple minutes approx 15 minutes after consuming it. I fasted for 10 hours before consumption because of the MAO inhibitor can react badly with certain foods. The total vision time was somewhere around 4-6 hours of intense night time visuals. I suggest real caution in making this
i love this show...
@Pegasoua you said it was for you "the best and the worst things that have happened" .
Would like to know the worst things .. because I haven't tried it yet .. cheers
muito interessante...espetacular video
Mahtavaa
@abrahambivins how do you explain how 6 people took ayahuasca and all 6 people encountered the same supreme beings and encountered the same message?
How does that work on hallucionacions? Are you saying that we(humans) the physical are not extention of the non physical dynamic of energy ,realities? What you know is a physical reality.. so limited. because you use your mind only
"I pretty much believe it is a poisonous plant & that is why you hallucinate..." Nope. Look up DMT.
that smile on his fucked up face 7:28 just tells you that hes finally in a good place :)
Yea that looks like a lot of fun......
of course it's not an opinion but a provocative.
Yeah when making tea with Syrian rue. I've been told that removing the tannins by using a gelatin powder will make it so you don't vomit. Or taking it in powder pill for in a a gell cap.. as it doesn't take much of it.
Well, yes, clearly these people were not prepared for the experience, but I still contend that it is best to take ayahuasca in the traditional, time-tested way and in the traditional rainforest context. I would never consider taking it in North America out of context. And yes, it helps a lot if one has practiced mind yogas before the ayahuasca experience. In my six traditional experiences with shamans of four different indigenous traditions I never had a negative experience.
Yes, I did see quite a few videos on it. I would like to go in a floatation tank and see what that is like.
no you wouldn't, that might be too intense. The songs the shaman sings help control the energy of it as well as use the medicine to pull things from you
expecting the dudesons to pop out of a bush at anytime.
thats my personal belief of what the after life is. a dmt hallucination with extreme time distortion
well done for going thru dat
The shamans say that the reason for the intense vomiting is because of the negativity we have in our lives and by throwing up profusely we are releasing the worst in our lives out and being cleansed.
YES!
Pupils say it all
@cincinatus90 they actually both had different experiences. Maybe be due to both being in a different headspace.
they probly asked them if they could film, and if they didnt want them to then they would have said so
I wonder if I can have this experience too if I go down there
Lucky men they are.
I think maybe the best preparation a person coming from a western background could have for ayahuasca is buddhist calming and mindfulness meditation techniques. If one is well-prepared from meditation practice that mental experiences are "empty" ie non-substantial ultimately, the phenomena that appear during ayahuasca have less potential to be disturbing.
.. aya ayaaa yaaa huascaaaaa meeee .. awesome episode
Haux haux 🙏🏼
@Ciaranarchy good advice. am looking to get some ingredients imported in the meantime hopefully.
Im in Brazil right now , Sao Paulo ... anyone know a good shaman around here?
That dude sounds like Bas Rutten!!!
@Blackstarting go to the amazon...
Mhm,Didgeridoo is one of my favourite instruments and believe me,it is not a didgeridoo.
if there is a head or mouth of snake, you just have to dive in.
Does anyone happen to know what's the song that the shaman is singing? Been looking for it ages :D
It's called Sandstorm. It was originally composed by a Finnish shaman called Darude.
Taika Sieni yes it is darude sandstorn veliseni
edheldude lmao shaman ei vittu😂😂😂
I wonder if he quit smoking cigarettes after having ayahuasca
I would love to try it for nothing more than recreational use. I find that there is a fine line between beliefs in anything and having a tremendous psychoactive experience might cause me to retract my strict beliefs like we evolved instead of existed from nothing. Just a belief.
The main guy who talked said it was a nightmare & the worstthing he ever went through. He kept throwing up a whole lot. why does it make you puke? He acted like he hated it when everyone else liked it. Don't understand? That would be soo agrivating having the shamans singing and hitting you with that broom looking thing. That would give you a really bad trip.. Plus how do you brush your teeth after puking? Laying on the hard ground would also give you a lot of pain & make the trip bad.
MsCerise007 Half of the comments here are you bitching
They are SOOOO objctive :D
just few weeks ago i got half kg of ayahuasca. ye it can be lil scary but just dont get so wasted as tunna and youll love it =)
Warmer climate, healthier women, better medicines...
Compared to Brazil, Finland looks rather like a sad little Cold War relic.
Anyone know what sort of istruments where used in 3:43?
This video possibly succeeds in scaring people away from ayahuasca.
@svanari I agree and I'm American.
fark.. ive booked myself into a retreat to try this for the first time friday week.. might just take a few sips.. haha..
I was eating ice cream when they started puking...Gosh
where in brazil is this?anybody?
Skinny guy had a bad time because he spent the entire time beforehand expecting to face his fears then spent the entire trip trying to hide from and suppress his fears :/ Set and setting!
The amount of puke in this video
ITS TOO DAMN HIGH!
ayahuasca is the teacher plant. If you gonna try go all the way. Respect it, learn with it, love it. Because the astral world has much more to tell us than our ordinary vision could ever imagine. I drink Ayahuasca once a week. I changed, for the better. Always.
It's not that you don't know it isn't real it is that it doesn't matter.
Why in gods name would you run around on Ayahuasca? Lie down and purge into a bucket, because you must fully surrender to the forces entering you.
@LeafFreedom thanks for info
I pretty much believe it is a poisonous plant & that is why you hallucinate & throw up. The shamans also would contribute to a person having a bad trip with their touching hitting with the broom thing & singing. I can see why it is illigal in America. The plant can't make you get rid of negitivity by purging. You would feel so glad to come down & feel even worse about yourself for doing this in the first place.
if i won the lottery, this is what id do
Who the fuck knows what were waiting for.
Plase don't take ayahuasca alone...never!
toi on hienoo tavaraa mut järviruokost saa saman kuosin vissiin
HE KID HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS TYPING ABOUT .....
@deceiver123m I can see your point.
@PkSage89 Dude, only thing he is acting about is the language. English isnt his motherlanguage.
1ST OFF WE ARE NOT SPEAKING WE ARE TYPING / 2ND YOU STILL DONT KNOW WHAT UR TYPING ABOUT BECAUSE YOU SAID YOU THINK AYAHUASCA IS 1 PLANT AND 3RD HAVE YOU EVER DONE AYhuasca? IF YOU HAVE YOU WOULD HAVE A RIGHT TO TALK ABOUT IT BUT IT IS CLEAR YOU NEVER HAVE SO YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY 1ST HAND KNOWLEDGE ON IT - ITS LEGAL AND FINE TO DO IN MANY PLACES IN SOUTH AMERICA
Americans have accents too when they speak foreign languages. And they can't help it... So it is ignorant of that person to say that the accent is forced.
@tigoldbitties1 somewhere in amazon...
@DANKERTHENYOUTHINK call me a pothead but quiting smoking weed everyday its not a big achievement..
These camera guys are really annoying, too much fish eye
@FuryOfMidgets taking DMT? you mean smoking it? I have, several times.
tietääks joku oks tulos lisää kausia?
Ei
Kohta alkaa Madventures Suomi ;)
@behemoth969 No more mushrooms for you
BECOME NUTS!
A turn off
@TranshumanCyborg awesome thoughts!
na not the finnish, i mean the hand gestures and expression which makes everything seem like a "madventure", or really intense. It's unnecessary and patronising. Ayahuasca is inaccurately portayed, and for whoms benefit?
@Condemnedpatriot: BTW, um, yoou are not even using proper english in your post..... hhmmmmm...
YOU STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT / IT CAN BE A COMBINATION OF MANY DIFFERENT PLANTS / IM BETTING YOU RE UNDER 20 YEARS OLD FOR SURE
U still alive?
