Thats great. I had the same excitement when mine fired up as well last week😅 just relieved mine is back on the road. I removed all my window trim, reseated and used black silicone to in certain areas. I removed the black grommet on the bottom of ecu box to release any water if it does get in. And covered the entire box with a tgin rubber sheet cut to dimension. Awesome Dave 🎉
Thanks. I’ll have to keep an eye on the ECU box - I didn’t notice any water but might have been at some point! Yes it’s a good feeling when you find a fix for something like this!

Yay well done it starts!!! I had same issue water in the ecu made the car have all kinds of dme issues.
Yes I had no idea it was such a common issue! From my Vauxhall experience, replacing ECUs was always a last resort but apparently not with BMs!
