That was a fun react. Yeah in the '90s it was common in UK to tuck track pants into socks. There's a few reasons for it - one was to stop pant cuffs getting caught in bicycle chains, when playing football in parks / streets and .. er .. to make sure any gear stashed didn't accidentally fall out the bottom onto the street if it slipped from its usual position 😏. It was also fashion to pull only one pant leg up for a while in the '90s - no idea where that one came from !
