so many people in the comments find american bullies a waste of time, but why watch a 15 minute video on a dog you think is a waste of time? honest question

I love bullys my second dog was a bully xxl she was so chilled one day i was going to school had a girlfriend at the time. One day my birth mom was getting really sick the state i was moveing to had that BSL law in place i walk in my moms house with my bully and my moms roommate looked at it and pulled a 45 with a 15 round clip and started to unlode the clip into my bully then i was teated like a drug dealer i had the cops with their ar15 ready to shoot me. And im still liveing at the same bullshit town where people will run up on you and shoot your bully in frunt of you. I seen it happen last night and last month at a parade. But yet the cops refuses to help us with the killings of our bullys. So for those who thanks its a wate of time ITS NOT becouse you show them love they show you love they wont judge you at all or talk shit behind your back i trusted my bully till the end IM GOING TO GET ME A NEW ONE LATER IN LIFE but fornow got to hussle this 33 oz of gade A++ kush OG kush, Alaplo gold, gothic gummy bear, GRALLA GLUE #2

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh my gosh!! Everything you mentioned is exactly what I am experiencing with my Bully. I've had him since a pup & he's almost 2 1/2yrs. Playing in the house I will stop. I do use the command words and he pretty much listens. But he's extremely active and gets excited all the flippin' time when he sees another dog. So, "come" does not work as I would like it. Any other tips on that? I have been looking to get a better harness for him. People have mention choke collars, but I think those are too extreme. What do you think of nose guards? Also with people asking to pet him, THANK YOU for that tip. Even the dog class I took never said that! As far as walking him on the sidewalk I'm so glad I never moved y position. It's funny how people misjudge pits and quickly move themselves far far away like my dog will viciously attack them or their pet. So I always kept my stance and made sure I try to teach my bully to be cool when passing. He is the most loveable, sweetest, playful, & hardheaded bully but I love him dearly. I have so much to learn. People have given me crazy tips and I have to filter through them to make sure to be correctly aggressive and not a mean dog owner. Some men out here tell you some crazy techniques. Anywho, those small tips will help me a lot! Thanks Marcus

Tbh my pits are and have always been well trained without a lot i see in this video. I let them play in the house, they are like kids. But they know when someone comes over to mellow out and they dont bark when people come to the door and they are great with kids. I can walk them off leash in town or hiking and they stay to heel and dont run up to people, they look at me for an ok to approach. Generally these are decent tips for someone inexperienced i guess. Or someone whos going to show. Whats most important is your dog being submissive to you. It creates instinctual obedience and chain of command and elevates anxiety when they know they arent responsible for anything until youve commanded it. My two cents anyway. Overall great video for newbies 🤙🏾

i think the best correction collar and leash wich can be used on all age dogs is Caesar mulan (probably not hos you spell his last name) its a all in one unit and the collar threads the leash through it so it always stays in the correct position. all the others slid down the dogs neck instead of staying up just behind the jaw line where its supposed to be.

I have done my research and I am very attracted to the English Staffordshire Terrier. They're smaller than their American Bully cousin, and they're also known for an innate friendly and docile temperament. I think that your instructions will work very well should I get a puppy or an older dog. I'll definitely be adopting so I might not come across a Staffordshire too soon. But when I do, this video has been very instructional and will watch it again to take notes. Thanks Very Much!👍

I agree with almost everything he says, some tho is absolutely preference. My 2 month old pup already learned Sit, Stay, Down, Paw and Come. Sit should be a vocal command in case Im not right next to him to touch him. Also, playing inside the house. Pups especially will play and need to, you may have work or meetings to attend and cant be there. He needs to know there is more to do than wait for me. Dogs especially pups will get anxious when left alone. Ensure they have a calm playtime inside to set the difference, simple rope toys and rubber balls do the best for me.
It keeps them calm if you pet them while they chew on the toy, have a vocal command for when they start to nibble something they shouldnt chew. Use the same command for any indoor or outdoor behavior you want to change.

Good video. The part about the dog going to the 🚪 is what I needed to hear. My Bully is good but I have a 4 year old Shih Tzu whom is very bad at that but my bully WILL NOT learn that.

Like with training is it better to train them on multiple things or 1 thing at a time or does that depend on the dog ?

I only ever used a chest harness with my bully from 6 mnth old, he's 18 months old now and walks impeccably. It's all about the energy moving fom you through the leash to the dog. Calm leadership energy. Rest of the tips totally agree.

Could you do a video on training a 2 or 3 year old adopted Bully? Also, would my son's 4 year old pit who is well trained be a good example for a newly adopted dog?

How do you train your dog like that though, I'm having a lot of issues training my pocket pitty. He knows how to sit, lay down, give paw and speak. But when I take him places he jumps all over people it we let him off the leash he takes off and we can't get him to come back to us.

Hey man, just wondering if you have any suggestions for anyone living in cold climates. I live in central MN I have an 11 yr old bully and an 8 week old puppy, older one is blue younger one is tri color. How should I handle this when it’s -25* outside? Not trying to be an ass I’m honestly interested.

Can you provide a link to the best collar for a 10-18 week puppy? Correction collar is too vague for google. Thanks!
