    This man is the reason I was able to save a man who was laying in the middle of the road last year. My formal training came after but Skinny formed my foundation. Thank you for the last 6 some years of videos, reviews, tips, and training.
    As a civilian, I hope to never have to use my ifak but I'm ready and capable because of you, Skinny!

    Can see this as an excellent kit for day sailors, kayaks & fisherman. The ability to throw it in a locker without concern over the usual soggy contents that emerge from the container when its needed, is just that extra piece of mind. Personally would upgrade for the Celox option, just a shame it doesnt contain one of the bright orange CATS! 👍🏼

    SM, I think you have been watching too many flashlight reviews ... Many Thanks. Prayers to the whole clan.

    It looks like the rubber insert that keeps items in the lid could also be used for some "over top of" compression or a sling etc. It might make a good thought exercise for some of those uses.

    You can totally buy this box and the supplies separately. Wouldn't it be significantly cheaper to build the very same kit yourself?

    • @SkinnyMedic
      @SkinnyMedic  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It might be cheaper but I am not sure it would be significantly.

      The average@@SkinnyMediccould for sure. But John Q Public is going to have to put 25 hours of education in before he's ready to even make some decisions. And the bottom line is most of the kits I've made myself, half the contents were recommendations from Skinny!
      It all comes down to one choice. What do you have more of, time or money. Lots of time, save some money. Lots of money, save some time.

      It’s honestly not that much of a difference. You can find these on sale for $145. The pelican case costs $65, CAT is $30, chest seals are $20, that leaves just $35 for the rest of the kit and the convenience of it already being put together.

    The real problem is NAR have serious price hikes. You're looking at 800% markup. They do have top notch stuff, but a bit of research and finding suppliers that local hospitals use is better.

    I don't particularly like CPR Shields, either. I prefer a Pocket CPR Mask. I will definitely by this kit for its contents but shop for a slightly larger Pelican Case to accommodate a CPR Mask. Pretty sure I can figure out another application for the tan Pelican Case.

    Hey skinny medic I had a question for you that may be a good video? What kind of medical gear can you get with fsa/hsa? I know some limited items are covered like a tourniquet for example. Or if any of the viewers have any good info on this subject drop it below! I can’t be the only one with this question

    Dude, haven't seen a video of yours for a while. Looking good. It's a pelican case man, the shower test was funny but never going to be a risk. Need to shoot that thing out of a cannon and see how it works out.
    Best to you and your family!

    A lot of this kit is garbage / filler. This is a bad investment. Buy the pelican case, and get the equipment individually as required.
