    Good day ❤ ma'am
The Folklore reminds us to listen to our beloved olders that know everything in the society.
We can't deny that older people are more knowledgeable than younger people in the world; after all, they were the first to encounter changes in the weather, attitudes, traditions, and social mores, among other things. The phrase "marami kapang kakaining kanin," which they used to refer to me, signifies that I must face more hardships and difficulties in order to better comprehend society.

Good evening Ma'am, I am Melanie L. de Guzman from III BSED SCIENCE. This video has taught me that we must respect our elders. Even though there are times when their suggestions or opinions aren't right, we need to learn to just listen and not ignore what they have to say. Elders are more knowledgeable than we are due to their extensive experience, as we all know. It is impossible to deny the fact that their opinions and advices frequently benefit us.

Good day, Ma'am Vladz! I am Evelyn S. Mararac, one of your students from III BSE Science.
This tale showed me how our society encourages us to do things that go against our principles, pushing us to do things only to meet their so-called standards. The society I'm referring to is that of our elders, the more experienced ones that use the term "papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ako" as a license to manipulate our life decisions in their favor. We can never ignore the importance of elders in our life, culture, and even morals. I always commend those who are very experienced and skilled in areas I haven't yet experienced, however, I believe it is not always wrong to disobey them, especially when it affects our own morality and humanity.

Good Day, Ma'am Vladz. I am Jeaniffer Camara, one of your students from III BSE Science. Upon watching your recorded discussion of the Irish folktale "The Brewery of Eggshells" by Thomas Crofton Croker, I've observed that this story has two sides that can provide valuable insights about life.
📌 According to the story, older people ought to have greater life experience and skills because that is how our society views them. We must not disregard the fact that our elders play vital roles in preserving our culture and way of life. I genuinely respect those older people who are more knowledgeable in fields I haven't yet explored, but I also think it is acceptable to disagree with them in certain circumstances if doing so would compromise our own principles, morality, or humanity.
The lesson I took up from this story is that we need to be reminded that we have the power to bring about the changes we desire for the world. We shouldn't feel under pressure to conform to societal expectations and to what other people want us to be. We must always move at our own pace, maintain our freedom, and uphold our ideals at all times.💗

    "THE BREWERY EGGSHELL"
We all know that our parents, grandparents, and elders have a lot of experience in life. As a child or a young person, we need to follow their advice so that we can have the right path to take. As they say, "Papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ako," which means that we still have a lot of challenges to face in life. That's why we should listen to our parents' advice and not disobey them because our elders are already on their way back, and they may suddenly leave this world. And of course, we should always remember the teachings that are good for our own welfare.
    Thank you 💕

This literary piece entitled "The Brewery of Eggshells" gives a moral about respecting, applying, and understanding what elders told us as a younger generation. It may be advice, experience, or a positive or negative story that we should listen to and learn from. Elders, cultivate us in such a way that they transmit their knowledge, teach us acceptability in any situation, and help us develop a positive attitude such as humanity that teaches empathy, which has an impact on society.

Good day, Ma'am Vladz! Here is my takeaway on the Irish Folktale, The Brewery of Eggshells. As the world changes over time, our culture, our beliefs, and our traditions changes with it as well. As one of the student now in a world we are in today, I am adapting with how things are being modernized. And in the story just like Mrs. Sullivan's action towards not minding the elders advice, it resulted for his son to be swapped by the fairies with changelings. And that is mostly how we people in the modern world now. We often forget that our elders have more knowledge than us because they have experienced more in the world than us. Because, we are in the modern world also, we often believe that the world today has nothing to do with what it is in the past. We often forget that golden knowledge are mostly found in the time of older people. That's why there is nothing wrong getting advice from them. Instead, we should be thankful that they are willing to impart the knowledge they have to us.

Good day Ma'am Cabutotan! I am Kissy May Roque, one of your students from III-BSE SCIENCE. Upon watching and reading, here are the morals that I've uncovered in the Irish Folktale “The Brewery of Eggshells” by Thomas Crofton Croker.
1st moral that I’ve uncovered: Whatever the physical appearance of the child the love of the mother stays the same, she can still feel that the child is still her baby boy. Even though there’s a doubt on her side that her son is a fairy and everyone is giving a terrible advice, she still didn’t want to hurt him. It really is a true love, an unconditional love where the mother accepts the old-looking baby as her own in despite of his appearance.
2nd moral that I’ve uncovered: Even though the worlds is against on her, Mrs. Sullivan’s kindness is still on her. She doesn’t want someone to be hurt, that even though she was hurt emotionally. That reminds me of a quote saying ‘Always Be Kind and Have Courage’ in Cinderella.

Good day, Ma'am Vladz. I'm Jelie Marie De Guzman from III BSE Science.
The moral that I've learned from the story is that, society has a big impact on a person's decision. Society, can easily make you change your mind, and can manipulate you to do something whether it is bad or good. As revealed in the story, Mrs. Sullivan did not want to hurt the baby even though it was not her child, but because of what Ellen Leah said and the community she lives, she changed her mind to cram the eggshell down the baby's throat. Fortunately, she failed and abled to fight the pressure against Ellen and her community (the society).
    That's all ma'am. Thank you po🌸

We can’t deny the fact that older people have contributed a lot to the younger people because they teaches us to understand what are the possible experiences will come in our lives. That’s why older people influenced my moral thinking by sharing their knowledge, beliefs, and their experiences in life. I always heard this saying to my elders that “Papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ako” the thought of this saying always reminds me to follow all their advices and opinions because I believed that they are more knowledgeable and had gone through a lot in life.

Good day, Ma'am, Vladz! I am Andrea C. Castro from III-BSE Science A.
Here is the moral lesson I have learned in our lecture video entitled "The Brewery of Eggshells" (an Ireland folktale).
Elders play a vital role in guiding us; they serve as the direction towards doing good, avoiding bad, and choosing right from wrong. In other words, we must obey them because they have experienced a lot of situations in life that challenge them as individuals, and some are well equipped on how to avoid doing it again or be brave and let them be in order for them to use these as a lesson. Therefore, I conclude that obeying them is a simple way to show that you respect their idea or opinion, but it's never wrong to listen to what your heart and mind say. We must always be open to challenge and new learning; that's how life works.
"Youth can walk faster, but the elder knows the road".

Some older people tell us about their experiences in their lives, so we can't deny that they are more knowledgeable when it comes to us because they're done on that part, facing challenges. Although it's still up to now , of course taking their advice would not be our loss because it is our responsibility to take it for our own good. We can't deny that Our parents and other people who are older than us will know more about life, because of their experiences. They giving advice to us because they want us to be a better person and they want to avoid wrong decscision in life. One way to show their love for thier chlidren is giving advice and teach their children in how to surpass all challenges and problems they have. Like what they always say " papunta ka palang pabalik na ako" and that is true, what they experience is nothing to do with what we experience. And beacuse of their experiences they used this to educate their love ones and other peopl

Old people in my surroundings influence my moral thinking through their thought, perspective, beliefs, and ideology. They believe that what have they have been through is a lesson to everyone in which results from them making remarks about what we are doing and in what should be done. They believe that they experience more than us that is why they are shaping our thought as same as them as they believe that it will be handy for us in the future. Well, they only want what is best for us but sometimes they forget that everyone is uniquely different to each other. They are forgetting that everyone can live a life they believe in. And it doesn't mean that what I think is wrong and what they believe in is right, vice versa.

By this old people are limiting our move of ways on how to live happy and free. But sometimes their blaming you if something happened to you accidentally, saying that 'ayan di ka kasi naniniwala' like it seems like a curse for us who don't really relate about. But it's compelling to us to have eldery in our sorroundings because they are much have more experience than us who still running the journey of life they guiding our way and ways on living in this world.

Here's what I've learned in the Ireland folktale "The Brewery of Eggshell" Particularly toward the elderly, Filipinos are well-known for their politeness and obedience. They are the ones who mentor and instruct young people in moral values and proper behavior. Elders' wisdom enables us to lead far more sensible lives. They also serve as ideal role models for the younger generation, helping them to develop into responsible adults. By paying attention to what they have to say, we can learn how to approach life with the proper mindset.

Good day, Ma’am Vladz! I'm Mary Joy O. Capa, one of your students in III-BSED-SCIENCE. The moral I have learned in this video entitled “The Brewery of Eggshells of Ireland Folktales” are as follows:
    1. Older people are ideal mentor.
From all the experiences they have accumulated over the years, they can judge a situation and give constructive advice to their children. They also play an important role in solving disputes among the family members.
    2. We should always listen to elders advice. Not because they are always right, but because they have more experience of being wrong. Behind every word of them has a story with experience and moral which can make us aware. So who ever gives us knowledge we should bey them. At least for our own profit, all respect never goes in vain.

And because of them I gain some knowledge about what happened in their time. What were the trends, how much was the fare when you ride jeep or kalesa back then, traditions that are now gradually changing like in courtship and many more. And they also talked about how happy people was back then with just simple things where technology doesn't yet exist in our world. Older people have a wealth of knowledge, beliefs, and experiences that they constantly inculcate to younger generation. Oftentimes, I hear the elderly saying, "Papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ako." With age comes wisdom. So, it is correct that they know things more than me. They undeniably have been through a lot and they don’t want me to experience the same thing. So I take the words for it and follow what they say. We all know the fact that old people give the best pieces of advice we, the younger ones can ever know. How they influence my moral thinking is like me, following a tutorial of an expert. I always see to it that I put those advices not only in my mind and doings but also in my heart. Because I know very well that those advices are not only just words but learned experiences.

The old people in my surroundings influences my moral thinking by, giving me some advices about life, they explain to me the different possibilities that may occur if I don't do my decision well so they gave moral lessons that might help my decision making and identify the negative and positive possibilities. I believe that older people are more wiser and more experienced in life and they can pass their knowledge or thoughts to influence others as well.

Good day, Ma'am Vladz. I am Bernadeth G. Bautista from III-BSE Science A. Here are the morals that I've learned after watching this video:
Firstly, the first thing that comes to mind is the greatest love of a mother. In this world full of judgmental people, we must not forget that we have a mother who loves everything about us, even in our lowest state and our flaws and imperfections. Even though not all people are like this, we are used to people who know nothing but to only judge if they see flaws in us; although they don't matter, their words have a big impact on our lives, and we are thankful that we have parents, most generally our mother, who accept, appreciate, and love everything about us.
Secondly, even at my age now, I still believe that elders have a big impact on our lives. I still believe that they have a big part to play as we grow older. That's why, even if what they say is not always true, there is still part of me that listens to them because I know they know what's best for us and for me. That they only want what's best for us, and there's nothing wrong with listening and following what they believe as long as those beliefs don't hurt anybody else.
That's all po, ma'am. Thank you, po and sorry for the late response; I was sick po kasi.

Good day, ma'am Vladz and my fellow future science educators! Here's the moral that I've uncovered in the Irish Folktale The Brewery of Eggshells by Thomas Crofton Croker. 🇮🇪💛
📌"The morality of one, shapes the humanity of many."
Even though she was pushed by her neighbors to treat the shriveled, dry, and wrinkled baby fairy (who replaced her healthy blue-eyed baby boy) awfully and was even provoked more by Ellen Leah/Ellen Grey (the healer), Mrs. Sullivan stood her grounds that she will never harm the said creature for she is a mother. A loving and prudent one. She couldn't bear to hurt the fairy child because she firmly believes that the 'Good People' or the fairies wouldn't lay a heavy hand on her child as well. 💯
The moral of the story is that one's morality shapes the humanity of many. In this volatile world we are living today, this unique folklore reminds us that we should always be the difference that we would like to have in our world. Even though we are constantly bombarded to be like this, and to act like that, we shouldn't be easily swayed by such societal norms. We should always stay grounded on our kindred morality as human beings for that leaves a mark on those people who are around us, thereby making a reverberating ripple effect from one the morality of one to the humanity of many. 🍂✨
Thank you so much, ma'am Vladz, for this insightful video lecture. Carpe diem! 💛

The knowledge of the elders helps us to live much more intelligently. It gives us having a less chance of becoming weary and pessimistic over the failures of the modern world since we have the knowledge of how our ancestors solved many of their problems. By listening to their opinions, it provides us an assistance in developing the right attitude toward life.

Good day, Ma'am. I am Jerica A. Petrola from III BSE SCIENCE.
Here are my key takeaways from the discussion of the "Ireland Folktale: The Brewery of Eggshells". This folktale highlights the elders wherein changeling had been mentioned that children might has been replaced by fairy creatures, it might look old compared to the normal children.
The main point here is that our elders have greater experience than us. They have this saying "papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ko" meaning that the older have many life experiences than us, they often say this to the younger people to tell that our experienced in life is not enough compared to their life experiences. That is why it is important for us, the younger generation to give value to the ideas, opinions and advices that the older people give. We need to understand that elders helps shaping the future of the younger generation through sharing and narrating their life experiences and hardships.
That would be all Ma'am. Thank you po♥️

As we all know older people knows best than us but not in everything, that is because they already encountered many things either their ups and downs in life. There are lots of lessons they do share to us because maybe they know that it will benefit us by sharing their experiences and beliefs in life or they don't want us to experience the same thing they experienced. At some point, their advices became my motivation in my daily life especially when it comes to study. They motivate me and give me courage to pursue what are the things I want and pursue in life. And yes, they played an important role in molding my moral thinking.

Good day, Ma'am Vladz! I'm Eddieson E. Nicanor Jr. from III BSE SCIENCE. Here's my insight about what moral lesson we can get from watching this video about an Ireland folktale, entitled "The Brewery of Eggshells."
In this folktale, Mrs. Sullivan is said to have had no desire to hurt the creature even though she knew it was a fairy. The suggestion of Ellen initiated Mrs. Sullivan's actions, which ultimately failed. Her morals and her principles as a human being were ultimately preserved, even under the pressures of society. It’s wise to conform to social norms when it's not against your morals and principles. However, there are some norms that we must avoid. We must avoid social norms that repress individuality and morality. Social norms are double-edged sword, we just need to know how to identify if it's good or bad. Let's break negative societal norms and build a positive one.
Let me connect it to a current issue. There's a stigma that when we were younger, people assumed we knew nothing. They will use phrases such as "papunta ka palang, pabalik na ako" and "mas matanda ako, mas alam ko kung ano ang tama" to support their reasoning. They assume that we're not capable of making rational decisions or expressing our own opinions.
It's time for us to stop being so scared to speak up. Speaking up for ourselves is the only way to truly learn and grow.
    That's all, thank you!

Good Day Ma’am. Sorry for late response. Here’s some lesson that I learned in the folktale entitled “The Brewery of Eggshells”.
The lines that ma’am vladz said “Papunta ka palang, pabalik na ako” those are the lines that both my grandmother and mother always tells us. And we cannot disregard the fact that they are almost always right. They are the one who is full of experiences and knowledges which we haven’t tried and learned yet. That’s why listening to them is beneficial and worth it. But what was the one hidden and powerful moral of this story? It was the idea of being cautious in any ways and always. 😊

Greeting! Again, I'm Miles Timothy Ilagan, a student from 3rd Year BSE Science. Here are some of my understanding regarding to the lecture video thereof.
It shows that the mother named Mrs. Sullivan feels revulsion to his son, believing that he is a fairy due to his appearance (blue-eyed, wrinkled and old child). Everyone in her community are comfonting her that this comes up with an incident of swapping the regular baby into the fairy-like creature. With an unhappy expression of Mr. Sullivan, she decided to follow the instruction of the meandering woman named Ellen Leah, the brewing of several eggshells in red-hot boiling water to see if the baby is a fairy, and if that happens, she must flame up the poker and cram to the baby's throat. With an unintentional slipperiness of Mrs. Sullivan, she finally realized that she's not intended to hurt her precious child, and she glance upon the baby's face sleeping quietly.
To conclude up the moral lesson upon the story, it tells us that stereotyping about someone's appearance brings danger within his/her life situations, even though it's part of one's beliefs or not. Even that it' prevalent in a certain community, we must consider humanity at the top because we're concerning about the life of someone regardless on what kind of human you are. Disregarding human nature is worse that taking a several stereotypes coming from everyone.
That's all of it, thank you soo much and have a good day!

Older people in our surrounding raised us as a person with a strong sense of right and wrong. Young people who obey older people's advices suggest that they have a good understanding of moral values. Young people also demonstrate a high level of moral awareness and an understanding of what makes a "good" person. Since older people have had experienced things throughout their lives, we tend to believe and obey their advices to be in track or path of our lives.

The people with whom we surrounds ourselves, generally share the same values and moral that we all generally live on a daily basis. Adults/ Older People contribute to the well-being of a person. It is because their relationship to each other. Here in the Philippines, I believe that older people knows better because they live much longer than me, They have more experience than me. Therefore, their moral values became my moral values too. It influences my moral thinking in a way that I do and follow their beliefs and doing as give respect to them as older people in my surroundings.

To be honest, old people's explanation about things are morally idealistic as compared with younger adults. In my case, they have always guide me everytime I ask for help. They told me that I need to exert time in thinking what is the right track I'll be heading--because it is JUST ME who is responsible for it. Also , they have told me that, if I succeed on my decision, I must use it as a motivation for future. If I failed, I must take it as a constructive learning. And these I think all contribute to my healthy moral thinking--the power of mediation analysis.

Blessed Day Ma'am Vladz! I'm Andrea Licuanan Grado from III BSEd Science A. Here's the moral that I learned in the Ireland folktale entitled,"The Brewery of Eggshells" aims to make us aware that older individuals-like our grandparents, parents, and other people who are older than us-have the best experiences in life. They constantly remind us of their guidance while also sharing personal tales about events in their lives to assist us learn lessons that can be really beneficial for the betterment of our life. They have experienced more hardships in life than we have, which is why we frequently hear the phrase "Papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ako." Therefore, let's cherish and treasure all of the advice, opinions, and reminders from our elders because they are the ones who understand what is best for us. Respect and adore them at the same time. That's all po Ma' am. Thank you po.

Old people in my surroundings, specially my grandparents influenced my moral thinking by making me believe in following some of their ways without showing enough scientific evidences or proofs that their claims are based on factual informations. Due to my respect for them despite of my search for those logical reasons, I am still following their beliefs because I know that they are telling me those superstitions in order for me to avoid further instances.
