I learned the Guitar. I like to play it. I also learned the keyboard. I like to play it as well. If I want to play my keyboard like a guitar and make it sound as close as possible to the real thing why do you care? Why do I want a guitar synthesizer that makes my Strat sound like a Moog? Why do I run my Fender through the input on my Akai Miniak and let the LFO run the filter resonance up and down.
BECAUSE I WANT TO! I think it's cool. This guy rocks with a computer and a midi controller ALL BY HIMSELF! That's hardcore. If you don't like it don't watch.

I've been a keyboard player for DECADES ..and NO synth on earth can do this ..I just bought a guitar and learning it, is a WHOLE different world. My 40+ yrs on keys doesn't help learning fingering on the guitar. THAT's why this is killer cool ..

ok it's nice why not just get a guitar play it for real then doing it on a keyboard. i dont see how different it is from a guitar and a effects unit. i can do all he does with it. i got a pod XT live. it does not sound any better than what i got.
some people can no longer play guitar like myself, so a keytar is like a god send.

I hate it when keytars don't sound like synths. Your going to go out of your way to make a $2000 keytar sound like a $2000 guitar. Just learn the guitar instead of faking it.
As a guitarist for 13 years i have to say its not for everyone i had to give up i was tuning my guitar and almost lost my eye so i now hate tuning my guitar i live in Austraila because of the hot weather i'm always tuning it its a real put off, and my wrist needed surgery from playing so i can no longer play now, i thinking of getting a keytar i'm over the moon that it can sound like a guitar its like i'm been given a second chance adamgh0 i'm asking don't hate keytar players they do put the hard work in instead hate guitar hero players they are the ones that fake it.
What does it matter? Cool thing about a synth is that it can sound like almost any instrument. That’s not “faking it,” that’s just utilizing the full sound profile of the instrument.
