Thank you, Dr Reuben, for asking the right questions to Orji Uzor Kalu irrespective of how his ox is gored. He called it an insult but the manner in which he was let off the hook and brought out of prison is still suspect and a subject of judicial controversy. I am an Igbo like him. However, I advocate tough penal measures against any politician who is found to have corruptly enriched himself or diverted public funds, if it is proven.

I am beginning to wonder why we have to bench on IMF/World Bank policies to drive our own economy. This, to me, isn't different from what we experienced during the colonial era. Since March 2023 that we retired our accrued rights has not been remitted to PENCOM for our gratuity and pension to be paid to us. President Buhari didn’t owe Federal Civil Servants a kobo before leaving office. This Administration has borrowed our money from PENCON to buy presidential jet and yorth. A lot of our colleagues has died due to lack of money to buy drugs and food to eat. Our children has been sent out of school. Mr president you are back pay us our gratuity and pension please.
