@@sakik2175 Donny hixon is a 30-32 year old man from New Jersey been skating for longer that Kynosuke has been alive more than likely and still no where near as solid as the kid , really shows the difference between natural talent vs just “years on the board”. Natural talent prevails.
@@fjsgte678 Looks are very deceiving though.. Donny didn't really miss that many tricks at all, he just missed them when it counted the most, 5 on defence out of 15. Whereas Kyo only missed one trick he initiated himself on offence, Donny missed two. That's already two potential letters Donny could have given to his opponent going up in smoke, not to mention losing the initiative. On defence he failed to land 5 tricks (duh, that's s k a t e), but he's basically been on defence throughout most of the game because he failed to land his own tricks twice. Kind of hard to really get back in there. What impressed me the most though is how Kyo only fails to land like two or three tricks or so *in total* . That's insanely good.

As if he’s not even worried or doubting that he’ll land tricks because he’s just so far advanced from the basics. Donny you can tell isn’t a very solid flat ground skater as he looks surprised on a lot of his makes and even barely physically makes some of them , literally “hangs onto them”. To be 15-16 years old and be more comfortable and confident on a skateboard than someone twice your age (30ish) shows you have “it” and that “it” is natural talent, and in Kyo’s case he has that plus discipline and it’s why he is as good as he is at his age.
So awesome to have watched kyonosuke going far back to his first appearance in Luis's video... To see him now on primitive and getting on batb it's so awesome and Luis is awesome for finding him and helping him grow. Kyonosuke is heading for huge things in the future

Damn, Yamashita it’s playing legit skate, the old school way. Starts with kick flip then fakie flip, then heel and etc. I like that style. More gentlemen style.
I always thought it was weird that all these games of skate opened with something like a nollie backside flip or something instead of the old fashioned kickflip

Classic BATB fare. Even if you didn't know Kyonosuke yet, it's immediately clear from the way he skates he can run off every single flip variation from basic to advanced, no need for weird semi-legal trickery.
Great game! Kyo very strategically saw he struggled with the first kickflip then threw every kickflip variation at him! Donny had such a lucky style, barely making those tricks at times, talented none the less.
Really well played from both of them. Donny going out strong in the start followed by Kyonosuke's turn by slowly going through some basics. Also loved the stoke on Kyonosuke's face when he landed his tricks!
I'm lovin seeing Kyonosuke get his shine. Well deserved. Good to see that Luis and the Erased crew are along his side too. That's family right there!
