@@KarmaticEvolution depends on what your comfortable with. Nosegrind has a bigger margin of error though. Lipslide would be harder than board if you're going fakie.
that's so true man he is flawless , me as a 42 year old that skated in my youth and i was pretty bad at it , seeing this is like i don't understand how can it get it so smooth and perfect ,balanced . I know this is edited but it makes you believe that he would land all these tricks the first time he tries them. anyways im gonna go get my pills happy to see this guy still destroying it

Film quality and skating is so clean it's easy to forget how hard it is to do both at this level.
Bruv the filmqualitiy is kinda shitty in my eyes, i mean it looks like they filmed the fisheye lines with an iphone 😅 but the skating is sick as always 👌

The VX days were great but im glad to see there gone. One of my main thoughts watching this video was holy shit its so cinematic... which I fully understand being a reason why others might dislike it, but to me this type of filming really showcases the art and beauty of skateboarding on another level... as corny as that sounds.
At the same time I dont want or need every skate part/video to be so cinematic, like this is Nyjah who has major sponsors backing him and not to mention his own bankroll to afford such film expenses... I dont expect this to become the industry standard. We all know about Nyjahs documentary so of course all his filming for the past few years has been next level.
Damn as a 30 year old now.. watching Elementality when i was younger and seeing his dreads damn near to the floor evolving to who he is today he really deserves his flowers. Just continually evolved into one of the absolute best. What a ride its been foreal so sick to watch through the years

Then just look at the dates to see which ones are from this year. His "need that" part is by far the best though (even if they are all incredible).

I'm 50 years old. I skated for about 20 years and I've always followed skating even after I couldn't do it anymore. This is the best solo video part I've ever seen. The music, the feeling, the sick as hell tricks, the editing...etc. Top notch. I'm blown away

for me the filming was not great, it was do much movement
18 stair bs tailslide! Wow! By the way Nyjah I met you at Costa Mesa skatepark two years ago and you complimented my tre flip. I did it up the euro gap and you said to me “that was clean” and gave me a fist bump! That moment was the pinnacle of my skateboard career. It was a pleasure to meet you. Heal up quickly! Thanks for the comments guys! It was the only time I ever met Nyjah and when I saw him my jaw kind of dropped. I was shocked. I stared at him for a minute and then I pulled myself together and went up to him. I said I was a big fan of his. He said something like “gotta love the fans!” He was in the zone because he was focused on his skating, so I didn’t want to bother him too much. I also complimented his steezy tres and switch heelflips. He did a floaty nollie inward heelflip up the euro gap and a nollie bs crooked grind across the kinked rail. The only think I regret is that I didn’t ask to get a picture with him. Oh well. For me the memory is the most important thing.
He just makes everything look so effortless. What an absolute machine.

Man I remember back in the day when we were all kids we would come inside from skating and just be going through TH-cam just trying to find funny or badass videos to watch, then one day we come across this little kid with dreads absolutely shredding, you just felt instantly attached cause of how good he was and still is. Been following his legacy ever since, super glad to see he is still shredding!!!! #Bringbackthedreads
Ive never skated before but watching people skate is so peaceful to me. I play bass guitar and I get a similar feeling watching people skate like I do when i'm playing music. It's almost like my mind is in a state of meditation i'm not really thing about much. Much love to the skate community I thought I would share my feelings.
That’s what it’s like to skate; nothing matters in that moment except what your feet and your board are doing, and what direction your momentum/weight is going.

I just happened to be on vacation for a couple days in Santa Monica and he literally parked underneath my hotel room balcony. Been watching him since he was a kid... I was also a kid too at the time. So wow, time flies! It's amazing that he's been at the top of the game this whole time. GOAT.

not only, he has put out the hardest and best parts for a decade. please check "rise and shine" and "fade to black" (again). these parts also should have gotten him soty. he was way ahead of his time and only 16-18 yrs old.... already the best in the world.

This part is absolutely amazing. First the skating is great! some huge tricks and insane spots. The filming and editing is also great and it’s all wrapped up with a perfect song choice that fits the skating and mood of the video. Above all Nyjah is just enjoying life and skating… PERFECT VIDEO

This is so inspiring, the music, the tricks.
I’m an athlete and I’ve trained a bunch of athletes. The key to this kids greatness is his footwork he could’ve been a sick ass, basketball player, gymnast, or quarterback… This level of athleticism transcends all sports.
Nyjah is literally him.
For someone who trains athletes, you don't know shit about sports. Nyjah Huston would make Kyler Murray look like a giant. You think he could be a star QB or NBA player? Do you only train 10 year olds? Because he is far too small for the sports you named lol

Damn... Used to be hating on Nyjah for being too good, growing up seeing him since he was a kid with dreadlocks joining the dream team in Element, felt that he was over-rated.. But seeing him evolve to where he is right now, everything he's achieved and all the crazy parts he's released through the years.. i can say nothing else but he's the G.O.A.T. and his greatness will always leave a mark in skateboarding. This part is way way mature and would be any filmer's dream video part to film. Damn.

When you’re so good at something only other professionals can recognize how good you are. His board control is unreal. It’s like he made a deal with gravity.
Absolutely breathtaking film work! I could watch this over and over just from an artistic film work but the skating though 😮 it is insane what Nyjah could do. The trick selection, the style, the sickness!! Just congrats to all the amazing team behind the art and of course to Nyjah for dropping the best for us.
I’ll be honest a lot of the shots seemed way too far away. Hard to get a good prescriptive of the obstacle and trick when you’re shooting from across the street and not zooming in at all. Like the first line, can’t tell anything about the width of the ledges he’s landing on or grasp the height of the drop because you’re 34 yards away.
@@seanfitzgerald5864 It's overproduced. Editing was kinda weak, and they used drones for all of the follow behinds. The skateboarding is insane, but the editing and production actually kind of hurt this part overall.
But, without nitpicking, Nyjah fucking rips. There's no debating that.

@big red well, what I said is based off of what I've seen in Japanese youth skateboarders over the past few years, Yuto happens to be one of the older ones but if you pay attention to the youth out there, they're on another level, skateboarding is exploding in Japan right now and they add a level of discipline to the sport that I haven't really seen from any other country. For starters, check out Ginwoo Onodera, he's 12.

I would disagree with the “creative” part. Every trick was so precise and flawless it lacked flavor. It’s starting to get to the Jaws point where as long as the spot is huge it’s a make regardless off the piss poor trick selection. He’s a beast but creative, not really.

Nijah is a true example on skateboarding that you do whatever you want to do without caring about the hype on sk8 scene. Haters there’s a bunch out there. True legend, no posing, no caring about if the clothes will make the hype happy, no cigarettes or drinking on poser scenes… JUST SKATEBOARDING, just elevating his own level, doing better each time, if not, having fun at least! FIRE 🔥
Not caring about the hype? He releases a video every year about this time as a attempt to get a SOTY the only skateboard accolade that has evaded him. I think he is probably one of the most skilled skateboarders of all time yet he still dosent get the respect of many old blue hair skateboarders because of things like this.

Louie way better footage,miles silvas better footage,Carlos riberiero,tj Rogers, maybe yuto, all did better imo. Shit I was more impressed with Torrey pudwill s bigger bang was better. Tyshawns a beast but so many people put out better footage. Plus tyshawn already too a year he shouldn't have

It blows my mind to think that this dude is only a year older than I am and has already built a legacy that exceeds so many pros before him. Nyjah will go down as one of the greatest of all time.
I've never seen skating like this. I've just only now discovered Nyjah. How can anyone top his skill now or in the future. It can literally get no better. This skill is unmatched. Think for a minute about what future skaters would have to do to top this!! I'm an amateur skater who has skated from 1988 to present and had an active amateur career in the late 90's in Manhattan .I've been around and seen plenty of pros. How can I comment on this level of skating: combine Jamie Thomas in his prime and the entire girl team from 97 who appeared in Mouse, jack em up on steroids, and you get Nyjah Huston...It's uncanny....
the level that modern skateboarding has reached is just ridiculous. i do wonder how parts like this will ever be beaten. other than just adding a more difficult flip trick before certain grinds etc, it's just insane and a crazy height for anyone to reach.

Pretty sure this was just throwaway footy for nyjah lol.. he said he had a part coming November 30th.. 6 minutes of footy is definitely a short part for nyjah.. which is nuts this was a sick part.
Love him or hate him, Nyjah consistently proves that he's just on another level and deserves to be called one of the greatest to ever flip a skateboard.

Nyjah, David Loy & chase Webb party video.. they SA a passed out girl and filmed it.. he gave someone lifelong trauma and has had no repercussions from that beside writing a check to keep her from speaking out.

I worked at the skate park in Woodland CA before your parents bought it. Seeing you kill it and learn tricks there at like 9 years old with long dreads was crazy. you worked hard and it paid off. Congratulations for all your success. This part was sick.
