    Amazing video once again man. Keep doing your thing man 🙏🏾🙏🏾. I want to build a luxury streetwear brand within the next year. Do you do consults by the way? I am literally in the idea generation and design phase. Design is all new to me but I am working on developing my skills. What are your suggestions for generating new innovative ideas for a new clothing line?

      I stopped consults last year, but will hit some of the idea generation in a video coming up!

    You might have covered it in a past video or in past content. Apologies for asking this if so. But it'd be really cool to get in-depth info how to start creating that following through transparent story telling of the process and starting a brand. I know you focus on Instagram but would platforms like Substack, or Linkedin or Reddit etc where one can get through the noise and where there aren't algorthrimic gatekeeping? I am taking a step back from mental health but using the time to think of how to "revamp" my brand.
    Awesome content btw! Just discovered you recently and loving it! Have a ton more questions but one at a time hahah.
    PS. If you are down to receive products and give your feedback, advice etc, do let me know!

    I stopped ordering from any brand on IG with poor shipping practices. i imagine they are using slow boat shipping or something similar you mention here. I do not recommend cheaping out on shipping, as you will lose quality customers

    I'm curious for the "building in public" route, if you'd recommend posting from the brand account itself, or from a personal account where you've already got a bit of an audience, and try to funnel people to the brand page from there?

    • @orenmeetsworld
      @orenmeetsworld  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That one - especially if you’re gonna need to run an IG or TikTok shop account, your reach will be throttled when you’re a business account versus a creator

      There’s a program called Theme Page Academy I believe I know a lot of people have done - I think his core source is a blog though and I don’t have good recs on a program or course there might do a video on it soon if I can outline enough good stuff

    Hey Oren,
    I just watched your “when to launch your brand“ video on TH-cam and you opened by saying that we should build an audience first. However, I wondered does this apply to Black owned businesses that don’t have the privilege of gaining funding quickly? How can I protect my idea from being stolen or duplicated by someone who has that privilege while I’m basically giving them the blueprint by sharing?
    Do you have any advice for best legal steps to take to ensure that an idea is safe before we build an audience aka giving away the sauce.
    Best,
    Kayla

    • @orenmeetsworld
      @orenmeetsworld  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Two things - Audience building isn’t a matter of funding, it’s time and strategy dedicated to organic social media. And you can build that audience as a creator or curator before revealing your idea
      Second - even if you do extreme legal protections, people will take your ideas. Assume it will happen, and know that the separation is going to be the continual ability to execute on new ideas, and the brand and story you establish that makes customers prefer you to those that take from you
