You can see she's actually a somewhat caring character. Fun fact about Helga's death scene: In an interview, the lead writer Tab Murphy stated that the original plan was to have Helga escape from being crushed by the zeppelin and live happily with the rest of the cast. However, this plan was changed, Helga did not die from the fall, but she died due to being unable to move to avoid the falling zeppelin. This was not because of her injuries, but due to the heavy weight of her balls. Metaphorically speaking, of course. You read this entire thing, didn't you? Well I lied. None of that was said. But Helga still has the biggest balls of the entire Atlantis cast, despite not having any.

"Atlantis: The Lost Empire" is a 2001 animated film produced by Disney, featuring adventure, exploration, and themes of discovery. One of the central characters is Helga Sinclair, who plays a key role as the tough and capable second-in-command to the expedition leader, Rourke. The reference to "Six Minutes & Three Seconds of Helga Sinclair" suggests you might be looking for a focused analysis, clip, or discussion about her character within that specific timeframe. Helga is known for her strong personality, combat skills, and loyalty, which often creates a dynamic tension in the narrative, especially in her interactions with other characters.

@@ethan123p4 Different strengths lie in different people. Women are generally more agile then men but brute strength are weaker. She uses that to her advantage here
this is so true
Yep, I'm really pissed of that point, 'cause it's actually an interresting female character that deserve more time on screen... But Atlantis was completly rushed in the final.
Helga was one of several characters from my childhood that shaped my taste in women now that I'm in my 20s.
Sorry for your loss 😂

It makes me happy that there are people out in the world who not only know the type of gun but that there are variants. Go you. Enjoy your life and enjoy knowing about guns.
It's not shown in the video but the Lee Enfield being operated by a mercenary was a nice touch too
Helga Sinclair was one of the first on my long list of "I didn't know at the time but I was attracted to her". Btw 60% of the woman in this list are either from Disney or pixar
Her voice actress sure as hell has one of the sexiest voices I've ever heard in an animated movie. AND played one of the sexiest animated characters to ever exist in animation history👌

Disney : it's all over town gossip rumors panic in the streets were lucky we're going to make a badass female character that looks like Sonya Blade
What are the odds
Hey !
What should we call this girl
Disney worker : Major Eden Sinclair
Disney : that's pretty good but it's taken wait wait I got it Helga Sinclair
Worker : genius
Disney : what do you want get out
I like to believe she redeemed herself by surviving that fall and getting back at Rourke like that...
Helga Sinclair, she had mastered the technique of the "Slipping shoulder's strap" so perfectly
I love this sketch-quality of Disney design. With digital animation programs, they can still animate in this 2-D style without old-school ink, paint and cells.
I wish they had made a sequel. They had a perfect premise. Helga went missing after the balloon crash, and rourke was shattered, filled with crystal energy. Her selling him as a living power source / weapon of mass destruction, and the Atlantis team returns to stop her / her true employer.
The sequel is on Disney plus
She felt from a balloon, then that same balloon crash down on fire and woke up a sleeping volcano, I highly doubt that she made it out of that
@@aacmbirdzilla2343 Ssssh, let us dream that evil Lara Croft got her Iago arc
There was a planned sequel where she would come back as a villain with Atlantis cyborg parts. Shame we never got to see it
This was a severely underrated Disney movie, which also contained the best twist villain in any Disney movie. Also, wasn't Roarke the first to actually kill someone in one of these types of Disney movies?
If I remember it had the most on-screen deaths of any disney movie (though I'm not certain if that's been topped in the like, ten years since I learned that).
I would say Scar is the first, if you count intent rather than...buffalo hooves. But Rourke definitely wins as best disney twist villain.
@@mafiacat88 In terms of the death count:
• The entire civilization of Atlantis being wiped out by the wave
• A few hundred deaths during the Leviathan’s attack (some darker than others, like the engineers)
• The Atlantean king
• Rourke’s men during the final battle
• Helga
• Rourke
Everyone forgets black cauldron
@@TmanTheTdog Some of the crew also died during the fire bug attack (and possibly during the subsequent fall) and some Atlantean warriors died fighting Rourke's mercs.

Judge Doom killed that shoe character in the dip.
Scar killed Mufassa.
Sid killed Combat Carl.
Judge Frollo killed Quasimodo’s Mom, Countless Romani and Countless Civillians.
Clayton killed Kerchak.
A literal giga-stacy
This woman is badass
You should see her as Susan Ivonova in Babylon 5. even more badass
This is how made her badass
Disney : alright we need a female villain & what should it be look like
One of the makers of the character : let's make her look like Sonya Blade
Disney : what should be her name ?
Another maker of the character : her name should sound like Major Eden Sinclair but instead of Eden we call her Helga
Disney : correct good work of choosing a name
That's pretty good I like it
The video delivers just what the title says, truly wonderful.
Back when Disney can make strong female characters without having to say they are strong female characters
oh she's strong alright

Badass deadly babe with a C96 Mauser, such a complex character. Looks awesome in 4K.
btw, her voice actress voices a lot of the commanding tone women in skyrim. Aela for example
I just picked up on that she looks like Meg from Hercules with some minor tweaks….never noticed that before.
She acts like her, too. Very cynical and beautiful.
Meg's a brunette Helga is a blonde.
Yeah but Meg seems more good hearted tbh
Nice try but I saw the second paragraph first
Ovaries and testicles are sort of variations of the same concept so you could say she (and all women) can have balls
Helga was the good guy all along
Well not quite she was greedy just like Rourke but Rourke is even more greedy than her betrayed her in order to keep everything to himself.
@@vincentfichtler7758 she was for a second and now this
Her immoral behavior and greed don't look too bad simply because Rourke managed to overshadow it with his even more cruel personality. She is still an antagonist
3:24 Ive replayed this scene 50 times. The animation is so fluid, ive never seen this level of skill used for comedic effect. She really hated mole😂
I have to admit back when I was kid when I first saw Atlantis Helga was my crush!

The fact that the unmade sequel, was going to have her character return (SPOILERS), feels like a wasted opportunity.
I don't see how she could of returned. If the fall didn't kill her, the volcano surely would of.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl , I think there's an unfinished script, but apparently I couldn't figure it out either. Somehow, she's supposed to be this masked villain who states that they're coming back for revenge on Atlantis, an her reveal was meant to be some plot twist.

Helga: That’s it. Unless someone wants to jump.
Rourke: Ladies first.

I really wanted a redemption arc for Helga.
I don't think I can call her a proper villain. She just made the wrong decisions.
Nah, she was a greedy, callous opportunist just like Rourke, only in it for the money. It's just that he was also a psychopath who doesn't care about killing whoever is in his way.
The Lara croft influence is amazing
Sonya Blade mostly influence
Well at least her final actions were noble.
I mean she's a lieutenant, the second in command. Even if she turns out to be a villain, how cool is that?!
