HA! Reminds me of my awkward family moment...
Maybe 5 years ago?
Was in the car after grocery shopping, was playing games on my phone, was somehow about to step on my sisters feet, she cried, dad took phone and gave it to Mom, Mom saw the wallpaper, showed it to my father and complimented me on how good I looked in the shirt she bought, she somehow didn't see my gf standing right in of me, (*light bulb) I suddenly remembered what my mom said if I didn't focus on school and got distracted (yes I'm of Asian descent) and so I pretended to be angry and took back my phone, Dad saw the wallpaper and covered for me by also pretending to be angry; this was after he had just given me a serious lecture using real anger about being careful and watchful of where I'm going
