- We always say Evolve is a brand made for riders, by riders, so let’s take a dive into our company and share the story of how it came to be. Apart from epic skateboards, Evolve has a rich mix of culture, values and amazing individuals that shape what you all know and love today. 10 years in and we are just getting warmed up… bring on 2021!

I'm a year into it with my bamboo GTR and it's completely changed my life.

I’m new to e-boarding and have a relatively cheap board, I knew about Evolve here in Australia but seeing this story puts a story behind the brand which is good - I’ll definitely be looking in their direction when I upgrade.
You will ever regrett it. Thats getting an evolve. Im 54, and every chance for the last 6 months since i got it, the Carbon GTR , im on it.
I used to ride a black hawk electric board. They claim to be leagues ahead of the competition. But their boards are limited on power and range

For me Evolve was a life changer and saver... just started e-skating months before heading to a burn-out at work. And riding my Evolve Carbon GT and getting in touch with the world wide community helped me recover from my illness much faster. And then getting to the World Cup in France 2017 and meeting all of the Evolve crew and community was ... don't know how to describe it, but that was one of my top moments ever!!! Keep Evolving 🤘

I’ve only had my GTR for 2 weeks my first E-board and it feels like a life changer. All the little parks and trails that I would never bother to walk are now playgrounds to me. I’m on the Gold Coast too, last weekend I did the off road track that goes to the spit. I’ve lived here for 20 years and that’s the first time I did that track.
Airplanes made the world smaller, electric skateboards made it big again.
WOW! amazing to see how far a company can come when it started so simple, i own a bgtr and is hands down the best purchase i have ever made. the board is so good i sold my car. great little documentry too!
Congrats Jeff and Team Evolve. I've been a fan since my first gen 1 snubnose and have loved the progressions you've made over the years. Please stay true to your core value of creating quality products. Sadly, this value has become a rarity in our world where cheap knock-offs over saturate the market. Keep evolving!
Dude I've watched high end boards lockup and I've watched low end Hobbywing boards lockup, Evolve doing it every now and then also only looks like a more consistent thing when there's a big social platform and a grand scale of sales. It gets harder to monitor when there's more units to check, and the things aren't rated that high at all in regards to what the electrics can output and handle continuously. If people didn't flog the boards so often there'd be less issues popping up, Evolve probably go through multiple designs a week when prepping new models, they're definitely trying to address the potential for issues, if you want to see scum designs look at the wiring of a Bioboard or Bajaboard battery.

“Radness Everywhere!” Such a good video and so much how I feel about my involvement with Evolve. I have made some life long friends from Evolve, as you say, World Cup 1 in Caudabronde set the scene and the tone for what came after. Just got my first e-skate for Xmas (aged 44!) - GTR Bamboo and been absolutely loving hooning and carving around on it. Lots to learn - and some orange bushings needed to hold up my 100kg butt - but definitely brings a smile to my face every time I ride.

This is a great insight into the history of Evolve that i never known. They are the best off the shelf Electric longboards out there. I cant wait to see whats coming next year the way this industry is steaming ahead.
I wonder why all the haters say you don't talk about where the boards are made. You literally went to where they are made and.....made them! ❤ Talk about taking control of a situation! ❤

Started riding yesterday. A complete 104kg, 189cm, 47 year old, 4 kid novice so your videos are very useful. Bamboo GTR, Evolve L Helmet (too small), protection, lights all ordered and arrived. Fingers crossed!
I want you guys to know that I love love love my new Evolve All Terrain GTR skateboard. Do to COVID I was unable to travel from Canada to Costa Rica where I get to surf, and then all ski hills were closed again to COVID. I’ll tell you that this board was a SCARY purchase do to the cost. Man I will tell you as a 56 year old woman, I fell in love. I got it yesterday, and I think I’ve done about 14 km’s already. This is so exciting. I’m a teacher who works online right now. I had an hour break and I went out on a 45 min break. It is amazing and really does give me the sensations of surfing and snowboarding. I’m going to get really good, and send you guys a video.
Hey Karen, we are stoked you took the chance on getting a board and know you'll only find more love for it as you get more comfortable. Take it slow, work up the modes, dial in your trucks and get a feel for how different surfaces feel under your feet. Enjoy the work breaks!

Had a gtr for couple years now, such an amazing product and so glad it had great people behind it. Love it!!!
THANKS Evolve!!! Love the "philosophy" of fun, the feel, and evolution. Just hit buy. Bamboo GTR AT ordered. +3 decades of windsurfing/windfoiling, several years snowboarding. Love the carving feeling whether on the face of a wave/swell or deep powder. Looking forward to carving on the "endless wave". Outside of a few recent downhill runs on a mountain skate board a few decades have passed since skating a longboard. Feel like a kid again.

I hadn't ridden a skateboard since I was in primary school. I brought the hadean carbon as a Christmas gift to myself, and I am just amazed how great it feels to ride and how much fun I've had with this board. I'm riding now everyday.

It must be a GTR as the GTR was only released 18 months ago. Batteries do age so talk to your local service centre about a new one and your board will be like new again!

I think the part where it said jeffs not into over engineering or the longest range is not what he wants, but just the pure ride! was interesting. I love my evolve's ride, but I defintely do hope he looks into the range. lol.

thank you Evolve sk8boards , my 1st was a bamboo gtx , 2nd was carbon gt now i ride a lacroix protoitpo , i still use my evolve boards with my 9yr old son . upon buying my 1st evolve in june 2017 o started Esk8Melbourne ... weekly wednesday nite rides all over melbourne and cbd . cant wait to see the next gen evolve longboard .... top tier product ???? to compete with kaly and the likes.

Good on ya Jeff and Fleur for taking such a big risk and following your passion! Evolve is my daily commute and I don't need to drive anymore and I have fun on my way to work and my carbon footprint has dramatically shrunk!

I have not yet been to Australia, but I definitely plan to visit Australia together with my wife and two sons in the near future and then I would really love to visit you and your phantastic company. PS: Still have my Pintail GEN1 which still works quite good - but the huge improovements to the current GTR line of boards is impressive ! Greetings from Vienna/Austria.

@@contorta960 Boosted died because they misused a $70m investment to create a scooter with the specs of one that costs a quarter of its price, Evolve will be fine, especially with a market leading customer service setup. DIY isn't even a threat to them, only a few are capable/willing to go that route and there's not really any rush for the specs you're asking for when Evolve aren't marketed for the speed factor, their focus is carving. Motor controllers look more common when you're selling that many more units, and a lot of people thrash the boards way too hard for what they're rated for, user error is absolutely a factor here.

But some of the things I read about evolve says you make them in Australia what you’ve done with the China board which is fine there’s nothing wrong with that but why do you do that except for this video
Hi David, I guess technically every video we make is an advertisement but this is really just an honest look at how things came to be. We never say our boards are made in Australia so unsure where you read that! The featured video for the past year on our channel is a documentary showing the production of the GTR in our manufacturing facilities.
But there hasn’t been anything you guys have come out with in the pass 5 years that is game changing. I haven’t bought a second Evolve board since my Carbon GT.
Well then, get back on your Boosted Mini-X and skate away little boy. Ohh, and do let us know how you go with their customer support when you need to contact them.
