I've bought seven NEW HK pistols in the last 1 and a half years. I've paid very good prices for new pistols. I recently paid $1,500 for a new USP 45 Tactical with 3 mags & night sights. I paid $1,100 for a USP in .40 S&W and $1,050 for a USP .40 S&W compact (all with 3 mags & factory night sights). These prices include tax and relative to even internet prices, were excellent prices. New USPs are expensive, but worth it. Can you find good deals on their used pistols? Yes. Just don't expect to pay significantly below MSRP on a new one.
Nice to know I'm not the only one seeking out older (pre-2005 in my case) USP's lol. I agree with everything you said. I prefer the older style roll marks on the slides, and as best as I've been able to work out, on the full size guns, 2005 was the change over year when they switched to having USP on both sides of the grip. I prefer the older style of HK USP on one side and the the US patent number on the other. I actually just picked up a KK dated USP 45 Tactical full deployment kit (minus the KAC suppressor). Same style camo case as your MK23 and it came with a functional MKII UTL, original cleaning kit, paperwork, holster, and 5 magazines. That one was a grail type find for me. Thought it was a too good to be true deal until I got it in my hands at my FFL's shop yesterday.
One other thing. Name & numbers of guns. Grand Power started making aMK 23 .it’s predecessor was a MK12 which I prefer.Mark =marksmanship-competition type guns.?.?maybe. All the rugar 22s& all. I suppose I could google it..thanks for sharing.
I bought used mint condition p2000sk LEM for $450 and I love it. I just ordered 2 vp9, totaled $1000. One comes with 3 17rd mags. Second one with night sight with 2 17rd mags. They both comes with $200x2=$400 HK store credits.
I got a KF usp40 for my birthday a few months ago and the cherry ontop for me was that it was made in the same year and month as i was born so its definitely a keeper for me ☺️ and it was in great condition too.
The prices you listed are insane deals. The cheapest I can get a tactical brand new is around 1300-1350, MK23 2200 and compact 45 around 1k even. Mind you these are all new with my discount included which are the best prices you can basically find then for new. As for used I recently saw a compact with no mag sell for 650…. Shot if I found any USP under 500 I would buy on the spot/
I buy and sell a lot because I have limited space and money, but I like trying things out and seeing what I like. My Mk23 was the biggest hit I took on a gun, percentage wise and took the longest to sell. Cool looking gun... but the usp is half the cost for a more usable platform.
you should get an Expert in 9mm; safari land makes a nice holster for it. BTW you can also swap a standard USP and an Expert slide to the same frame. just like the compact and p2000.
Man GT Distributors is right down the way from me and they always have some awesome used pieces for damn good prices. That USP .45 Tactical with the X300 is my favorite. Did you use a GGG Rail Adapter to mount that Surefire to it?
You like older guns,me too. Bet you are thrilled about the new HK pistol in 40. NOT. love the big one & the little one. Take care

Yeah, when I was writing out the prices and looking online. You typically save around 10-20%. Not as much as other brands.

Great deals! How do you like the LEM trigger? I've never tried one before.

I have a USP40, HK45, 3 P30Ls and all are awesome 😎
3 p30Ls?? Kind of like my obsession with P226's? I really like p30Ls with the heinie ledge sights, do you have one set up with those?

Congrats on the amazing collection!
Go for an expert! Absolutely love mine and the P30 are nice as well. One of my favorites to carry is a P30sk
PSS. 40s. The masses have shunned the caliber. Fine time to get a bargain on whatever in 40 & convert it to 357sig. A thought.
Hostile Environment finish is a nitro carburized finish

Yup, the GGG rail adapter is great. And I agree, the usp 45 tactical is my favorite as well.
Years ago I had a chance on a m23 used for 1000. I regret passing on that .
dang, that'd be a smoking deal
I recommend the usp compact 45
Ha, the one I don't have. I guess I'll have to start searching for the collection.
You need a USP Expert and then I would call it a day lol
Oh shit, I thought I was done....lol
You also need a USP Elite!
I think the DE is Deutschland
Elite. You need an elite or a match.
I thought the USP was German made.
Only HK 45 is made in the US?
Every USP I have seen is German
I think you're right. HK45s are the only ones made in the US. Everything else in mostly german made.
