The book To Catch a Thief by David Dodge is well worth reading. The last time I looked it was out of print, but widely available second hand, having been so popular. One slight change only, probably due to 1950s censorship, but Hitchcock kept very close to the original and the atmosphere is there. Recommended!

I was able to get a Special Edition Mini Cool Box with the Delvaux crown logo and 1829 in gold studs. I have been hesitant to look at the Brillant because of the buckle, but wow you make it look effortless to open.
The buckle used to intimidate me too, but it really isn't that bad at all once you get used to how it works! Your cool box sounds lovely ☺️ I've been very interested in the mini size!

I really like Delvaux. Though I'm not a fan of overly structured top handle bags, I have been considering the So Cool and Cool Box. I went to their store while traveling in Paris, and even though I mentioned I was just looking, the salesperson was incredibly friendly and helpful. He pulled out many different bags in all sizes and colors and seemed genuinely excited to share information about the brand.
So well timed both of you! I just recently purchased my first DELVAUX, a cool box nano, and I must say I love both brands 🎉 I’m definitely interested in adding a Brilliant to my collection, but having trouble deciding on a color and size 😅 TYFS ❤ Kiki

I am team Hermes, I think it’s because I was more drawn to their scarves, jewelries and home products, the bag is a just a perk, but they have such a range to offer that I truly enjoy. I love this video, I love your bags!! I see the point of the “Hermes game” is not really a game, it’s more of a test, are you really into the brand or you just want the “status symbol” of having to own one. It’s pretty interesting really, I love my SA and forever grateful to have a team work with me every time I come to my store ❤

I don’t think Richemont has done anything for the brand. A fun bit of info: Damian O’Sullivan, the very accomplished designer of the Magritte collection has teamed up with Christine to found a new company called Daamian. So far they are producing 2 handbag designs with a surrealistic feeling.
It was interesting to hear about the Hermes Kelly because I love mine too. I went to the hotel where "To catch a thief" was filmed (Hotel Carlton, Cannes, France), and I visited Monaco where Grace Kelly was the princess of the country. I visited the church where her wedding and funeral were held, and I stayed at the hotel where her wedding anniversary was held. The soap and shampoo, etc., in the hotel room were made by Hermes. We had a wonderful time staying at Monaco, everything was so beautiful. So I have very special memories associated with the Kelly, so I would have to say I am team Kelly. But I have also visited Belgium and I love that country, so it was interesting to hear about the association with Delvaux. I have also seen many paintings by Magritte, they are very interesting.
Wooww I own both of them kelly same size 35 blue jeans I bought in Capri Island in 2007 and Delvaux same size and same colour I bought in Antwerp in 2014 I like them bougt. Voilla regard from Bali 😊
I just purchased a Coach Sammy and many say that it is a Kelly dupe, but after seeing the Brillant I would say the Sammy is a Brillant dupe, pun intended.
i look out on Delvaux bag prices and wow it's not that bad. not saying it's cheap lol but way better than Chanel ?? with the quality Delvaux giving you, what else can you ask for. the cheapest one is €2000+ and love the subtle D on the bag. however, their bags are not my style.. it just not interesting to me 😅 regardless I enjoy learning new things
