    Few more tips for new BMS Viper pilots:
    - Recommend to rotate nose (gun cross) up to 10° then continue pull to ~13° at takeoff.. pulling any further risks striking your tail.
    - Consider leaving jammer off/manual, if there are modern SA-6 or SA-10 in the theater (in BMS 4.35 they can HOJ and will kill you without warning).

      how is jammer off gonna help? What's HOJ?

      @@michelestefanini5466 Home on jamming. Meaning you're jammer just becomes another thing the sensor suite of the missile can lock onto, like a HARM does to a SAM. AIM-120C/D and R77's have this capability also.

    Thank you so much for your videos friend, I come from DCS Viper and I am learning BMS with these two videos and the cold start one, because its really more complex here and you explain everything so well and to the point that its easy to understand.

    Dude really thank you, i have been trying for so hard for all of these... I can hit a few targets in DCS before i go down in flames but this game is like a whole new level above DCS... Thank you so much, i really learned a lot and this campaign it really looks freaking SICK. Thanks again and fly safe!

    In bms does selecting runway instead of ramp put you in a configured plane ready to fly. I like the flying part but don’t want to spend days memorizing start up procedures

      Yes it does, but it's also fun to start up the plane and you can usually learn it in a couple of tries.

    Just a little correction, at 11:11 you say that the flashing ALIGN means that the alignment has finished. This is not correct. When the process has finished, the RDY will flash on the HUD and on the DED. Otherwise, fantastic two-parter tutorial. thank you

    I know this is an 1yr old video, but how the hell did the EG-18 Growler died, he has very very powerful jammers, also GBU s are guided? Aren t they General purpose, like very basic bombs?

    • @raduoctavian2826
      @raduoctavian2826 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am still learning, especially i want to be prepared for my first campaing so that s why i am asking, also does bomb are more useful than Harms? Or when i should chose one or the other

    • @henriklmao
      @henriklmao 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      GBU stands for Guided Bomb Unit. All of them are guided, mostly by laser.

    Do you need to lock FTT for the SDBs? (vs just dropping them onto the precision stpts) I think there's a chance you double-hit some targets if FTT happens to lock same target twice.. esp without zooming in (DBS2). But yeah probably just earlier flight stole a few targets from you.

    • @XCHECK
      @XCHECK  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You know, I have tried without the FTT lock, and has no succes, but may be pilot error tbh. I am still a bit green on BMS but really enjoying it.

    • @arithex
      @arithex 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@XCHECK Yeah, I suppose the flip side is, units may move around a bit, between recon-time and impact-time. The mobile SAM units (SA-4, SA-6 etc) seem very challenging in 4.35.. esp. when there are coordinated search radars in the area, they can move around and remain largely hidden until you're in the wez.
