Oh, and about three quarters of the way through the song, Toni shouts her harmonies at me to get me to join her in singing and it makes me laugh, and it's downhill from there. Decided to not do another take because perfection is no fun. :)

Most of the time musicians sing way different than they talk, but both of you sing the same way you talk which actually makes both unique and frankly very pleasing to watch and listen to everyday. Your covers are off the chain and your originals can stand up to anyone. Art really should never be criticized and only enjoyed and I do. Love both your vocals and guitars, keep up the great work, would love to see a live performance some day……Queen and Toni ❤keep it going, thanks

Yep. 53 and still young in many ways. Not so much in other ways. And nothing creepy here. But I do absolutely adore these beautiful young ladies. They make me smile. And I love their music so much.

when i hear a performance like that it’s a struggle to find appropriate words. fantastic. extraordinary. tremendous. great. fabulous. put them all together and whatever that adds up to is the word.
I truly enjoy listening to you two gals playing and singing. I grew up in the era of music you two cover. It's refreshing to see your generation bringing back this great music in such good taste. "Everything looks worse in black and white" brought me up short - I thought it was "better" - but it turns out Paul Simon said "I can't remember which way I originally wrote it - 'better' or 'worse' - but I always change it...." Great rendition, ladies!

I love your music and your energy. For those of us that were taking pictures with a camera and chemical film: the camera is a Nikon and the film is Kodachrome (as opposed to what I think I hear at 1:47 in the recording). It looks like you were near Augsburg University.
You made me smile. This song was released when I was seventeen. I loved my Nikon camera, and I shot Kodachrome almost exclusively. Loved your performance!

Very nice. I think the actual lyrics are "GIVE US the nice bright colors..." etc., but your "AGAINST the..." gives an interesting 'comparative analysis' meaning, and therefore works.
They give us those nice bright colors, they give us the greens of summer.
It's interesting, because it's a very prescient song in some respects. It's about capturing the perfect "I know they'd never match my sweet imagination" ....."makes us think all the world's a sunny day" THAT is facebook, instagram etc - they're curated but made not to look like they are - in that sense AGAINST - in opposition, whether deliberate or not, works as a comment.

In the good old days, foto-cameras used to have a film inside, like "Kodak". Kodachrome was a commercial song for their new colour film.
It was a nice song, and it made it into the charts. I can remember hearing the song every hour on the radio!

@@fauchejuliano Kodachrome was a Kodak brand of color slide film. Paul Simon had a hit single with it. That's why you heard it on the radio all the time. It was not a paid commercial for Kodak. Or Nikon, for that matter, though I'm sure it didn't hurt the sales of either.
