I think the set is amazing, personally. I don't mind the smaller quantities and the prices can be a bit high at stores like Walmart and stuff, but the multiple rarities among all of the cards is what seals the deal. Finally they're taking the OCG approach and I honestly hope they keep making sets like this. It makes the necessary staple cards actually affordable!
I wish every set had multiple rarities. Konami is doing what they always do with the new Valiant Smashers set and making most of the Centur-Ion cards ultras. Which sucks because I wanted to play that deck.
Love this set, have told everyone that its the closest I've been to feeling that excitement that I use to when I was a kid when opening packs! Awesome way to close it out, not how you start but how you finish, and last I looked Imperm QCR is the 2nd highest valued card currently in the set, sweet last pack magic!
I actually really like the smaller quantities - it reminds me of the special editions back then when you wanted some packs but didn't want to buy a whole booster box. Shame about walmart's price tag on these though but solid product!
They had these at my wal mart a day before release, got 3 boxes, pulled QSR imperm, thought "SURELY THE PRICES WILL GO DOWN AFTER LAUNCH LIKE EVERY SINGLE OTHER PRODUCT THAT EXISTS" sold imperm for 45$. it's over 70$ now.
I think these are cool. My only concern is that people will sell these on the secondary market as “booster boxes” since they look so similar. (Especially with so many people buying the set and not being able to find it on the shelves or in OTS stores.)
Yeah, people have been buying these up and relisting on ebay for $50+ probably banking on people mistaking them for full 24 pack booster boxes. It's pretty gross.
Yea that already happen as mentioned before, people listing as booter box or leaving out these are the 5 pack ones in the description on ebay, cant wait for people to do chargeback to all the seller selling them for 60-80
This set's awesome to open, so I'm glad they're making it available in so many different quantities. I don't think I'd open a second box since my first had almost all I needed but I might pick one of these up. They'd also make really good gifts, imo. A little more interesting than a blister pack but cheaper than a box.
It's very reminiscent of the old Gold series or the Ghosts from the Past sets. Honestly, it's fine to me for someone that wants something as an in-between opening a full box or opening single packs.

In australia, we’ve gotten these small special edition packs, similar to previous main set releases, which has 3 packs in a box, for around 33aud. Ive gotten 3 of them, and managed to pull a CR out of every box
I do like that there's a middle ground set size, especially since Rarity Collection has better odds of good stuff with all the rarities. I also really appreciate how much easier the new blisters are to open, tbh.
I think retail big box stores having these "special edition"/"Magnificent Mavens" type packaging with 5 packs per box is nice. Ppl who cannot afford a booster box can pick up a mini box or single packs. And it looks like ppl can get super lucky with single packs, b/c that LAST PACK MAGIC had the best pull of the video. 😄
Remember as a retail worker theses jobs are always understaffed don't be hard one the 1 person helping everyone out its really stressful and who knows how long that person been working. awesome video
Not to be needlessly contrarian but small boxes like this shouldn’t ever be released unless it is the largest box in the set, like with Magnificent Mavens/Maximum Gold boxes. It’s a literal rip-off, particularly when the pricing breaks out even with the blister packs (already overpriced in nearly every instance)
I like the 5 per box, realised it's been harder to find, compared to the full case. Regarding price you made a valid point of it not beeing cheaper the more you buy. I'm willing to spend the money on it with the fun chances you get 😊

In the UK a lot of places are selling Rarity collection for the equivalent of $7-8 a pack. We have a 3 pack special edition that’s around $25 which is nuts

I bought one of these bundles before I got my hands on a booster box. Im perfectly fine with these special bundles with fewer packs as it still gives people a taste of what to expect in a set like this, especially for those with no LGS in their area. I got a QSR Alpha in my bundle
For sure don’t mind them existing or the price Some people don’t really want to drop 80 bucks a box but don’t want to just get singles so this is a great compromise
I got one of these last Saturday, and I think it's decently priced for what you can get. I was a bit confused by how similar it looked to a booster box, but after I read it, I understood it then. Anyway I did get a QCR Afterglow Dragon and CR Dimensional Barrier out of it, so I was happy.
Just bought some single packs for myself - finally! Been watching your videos and dying to open some. I think the price is fantastic compared to older sets/specials.
The packs come out of the collection boxes by folding the flaps (shaped like a square) down so that the squares become just right angles and the packs come right out….Pokemon ETB’s have this same style of packaging and it took me like 6 months to figure out that’s how you take the product out haha
I think it's neat to have smaller quantities! Especially nice for anyone who can't afford a box but wants more than some loose packs from locals. The blisters look so cool too!
Didn't know these existed! I think its a super cool idea and I was always a fan of special editions! Much more affordable than an entire booster box if you just want to experience a little bit of the set

These are actually pretty cool - I love it that Konami gave this set so much of a spotlight, considering how much of a great change of pace it was for TCG product when compared to what they get in OCG territory. I definitely want many more sets like these

My Walmart has most of the cards behind the cashier n usually the line is way 2 long in my town so I jus buy what I can find from my lgs my son opened up 3 packs so far pretty Kool has alot of rarities in them.
Definitely one of the best things about this set is the fact that you have many more opportunities to pull something from one pack compared to the average set.
I actually like that they’re doing a psudo special edition with this set. Puts more of the set into rotation, which only helps the player base more. I wish it looked a little more unique though, too similar to the booster box

How could it NOT be fun with Rarity Collection. So many awesome things about this set. Yes there is potentially some down side for collectors and stuff, of which i have recently started again, but i aslo started playing again recently and because of one single booster box i bought the other day i was able to build about 30% of my deck i wanted to build, and mostly with higher rarity cards that didnt break the bank. This set rocks!
You can get some cool stuff with the blisters, but you have to buy multiples, at least 5. I typically buy 6 or 7 and I usually pull a secret when I do so.

I ended up buying one on release day and ended up not pulling anything exciting but I went back the next day to get more and of course they were sold out and then called two other Walmarts and no luck. This is actually the first way I got my hands on some Rarity Collection. I bought a handful and pulled 5 QCRs! I think they're more fun to open than just grabbing blisters.
I tend to like the Walmart packs just because it’s more mixed versus going to a local card shop and knowing someone already pulled the chase card in that box/set
I opened about 6 of these “mini booster boxes” and pulled INSANE. Ash, Droplet, Prosperity, and Imperm QCR’s (just the big hits). Also pulled multiple Baronnes and SR Prosperities. All from the same store just different days. On the down side I haven’t seen a single Triple t or Veiler. Of course luck plays a role but it’s crazy to see how different the boxes can be depending on location
Always enjoy the walmart videos, opened a box myself recently - didn't get anything good except a plat secret veiler. It's an alright product though wish they quaranteed a quarter century in each but thats too much to ask

They already do on eBay. $40-50+ a box on there, there's listings for the same price as a regular booster box too last I checked

The polemon style blisters are nice! The boxes are made that way, so you can’t easily get the packs out without ripping it apart in the store
