- Headlight restoration in minutes! To restore headlights using V34 Compound and V36 Polish before applying JetSeal, start by cleaning the headlights to remove dirt and debris. Use painter's tape to protect the surrounding paint. Apply V34 Cutting Compound with an Orange Hex-Logic Pad, working it in to reduce oxidation and imperfections. Wipe off residue, and if needed, repeat the process. Follow up with V36 Finishing Polish to refine and remove fine scratches. Clean the headlights again and inspect the improvement. Apply JetSeal or ceramic for protection, following the product instructions. After the sealant cures, remove tape and inspect the headlights for clarity and protection. This step-by-step process will help restore and protect your headlights, enhancing their appearance and longevity.

Nick makes everything sound so simple and easy but then it would not be Chemical Guys my opinion some of the best in the business
😃 We appreciate the awesome feedback!
Why not use the chemical guys headlight restoration from the beginning?
Thank you for always providing wonderful recommendations and techniques.
😃 Happy detailing!
If your sanding and using a compujd and polish, might as well do a full sand a good finish and apply a clear coat, ceramic coating or PPF and last for years
Bought a modified car with janky aftermarket headlights. Bought oem base headlights and need to do this. Saved this video 🤙
Thanks so much for tuning in!!
So no need to use headlight restorer before sealing headlight ?
Hey! Use Headlight Restorer for light oxidation and haze.

Glad to have you as part of the Chemical Guys family!!
It looked better, but not great.
Thanks so much for your feedback
If you were expecting "like new" you need to buy them new. That difference in clarity without having to replace them IS great.
@@brucetruth5354 First off. this 'fix' is a temporary one at best. Waxes and polishes are not going to offer more than a few months protection. A UV stabilized clear spray paint should have been used to poovide a longer term solution. And you are correct, a replacement product would be better. I have noticed that with many headlights that have clear components inside the bezel that they will still remain cloudy as the internal components are not being addressed. So I guess "IS great" depends on if half a**'d works for you.
Looks terrible. They should have scrapped this video
