One of the best Star Trek moments is the end of part 1 and the beginning of part 2 is when both Shelby and Riker are in the shot and she's looking up at him like," what are you going to do now big guy?". Then the camera rotates and zooms in on him, "Mr. Worf... fire". I remember as a young teenager getting the chills and frankly it happens to a point now when I watch it again. She was absolutely wonderful in this and I never had a problem with how she was with Riker. In Q Who, Picard said we needed a kick in our complacency learning about the Borg, and she was Riker's kick in his. Best cliffhanger ever and top 5-ish in the Star Trek franchise in terms of episode

Turn out that Elizabeth Shelby got her first name in the New Frontier series of Star Trek novels by Peter David from 1997 onwards. Even back then, Paramount had to approve things like that.

Finally home and I've got the InfernalNet again AND the COVIDS!! That's a shocker. Anyhow, just like the last @SundayTeaser for Part 1, I still love Elizabeth Dennehy in this role. Unlike most of you, I was a genuine Adult when this show came out and that woman was a pistol for sure and certain. So man hints and red herrings cooked up in Frakes' trailer, all I knew is I wanted more and was pissed that it took 30 years to get her back on the screen in Trek. Yay for Terry Matalas and his "short list"!
Funny. I LIKED her hair in Best of Both Worlds. The little curls down the side I thought were pretty hot. The doo made her look commanding, but youthful, at least that's what I thought anyway.

Update: Uh, was it Part I that I missed? I did watch this when it was live this morning! I'll go looking for Part I now!
Damn. Poor Elizabeth. First she can't eat or drink for 3 months. Then she's got to not spill the beans for 14 months.
Riker doesn’t get his rocks off with that many women in the series. Very few episodes, in my opinion.
I had the biggest crush on her
