I have built this deck in paper with a few alterations, and it is by far my favorite deck to pay currently. Still haven’t won a game yet but I have so much fun playing that I really don’t care. Thanks for sharing.

Isn’t this what it’s all about: having fun? 🤩
With Krark out, it’s not seldom that the other players are rooting for you for the spell to go through and are feeling with you when it doesn’t. Glad that you’re also enjoying it and it’s about time that you win a game as well! 🤭

Spitebellows and Chandra’s Incinerator are great removal that have reduced/alternative costs. Blazing and Sickening Shoal are more interesting free spells that can be game ending if you exile a high cmc card to cast them.
Keen Duelist and Sin Prodder could be could be good additions to Twilight Prophet for card advantage/damage. Baneful Omen and Heretic’s Punishment are more options for weaponising your mana curve

      Love those suggestions!
Had the Incinerator in my deck before, but it was cut for some better card. Still, a wonderful inclusion.
Keen Duelist and Baneful Omen I might try out, though I will have to find cards to cut first… 😅 Sadly, both and also the Prodder all trigger a turn later, before generating value. Then again, so does Twilight Prophet…

You activated my trap card! Wait.. wrong game
    But wouldn’t adding G better ?

Oh, how often I’ve said that playing this deck 😂
Which commanders would you choose? I liked Krark for the chaotic ability of being able to copy the alternative cost cards. Even when they don’t go through, they’re often cheap enough to be cast again, and even if not, Vial Smasher will already have dealt damage equal to the mana value. 😈

that was my point@@CardboardTutor, if Krark's "luck" doesn't get through you have to pay again, and even if those alt costs might be cheap..it's still mana used. Green can still be usefull in just adding some ramp.. this might sound "too much" but you know.. Thrasios gives both G and U, and if you don't want to go 4 c, Gilanra draw cards and Anara gives indestructible to commanders during your turn; of the both, I'd go with Gilanra because even if you use her mana for the alt cost, she will still see the real CMC and draw a card.

Gilanra certainly does sounds like an interesting alternative to build a trap/alternative cost deck around! 4C would also be interesting, since more colors equals more options for better alt. cost cards! Maybe I’ll even build this variant or let people vote for it in the next commander vote in the community tab! For now I’ll leave it like this, since I like the chaotic randomness with Krark at the front. ☺️

@@CardboardTutor I understand someone might enjoy the chaos that Krark brings, and I'm not one, so I was looking for more, not even consistency, just trying to add G for speed/ramp

@@matianlong7907 I must say that it's sometimes quite frustrating when Krark bounces your fourth spell in a row back to your hand, but that's where his Thumb comes into play and hopefully that helps! :D
Will add your idea to the list of possible decks and maybe the channel wants to see me build it! ^^
Saruman of Many Colors goes into a similar direction of alternative cost/traps with another different color combo: Esper. Sadly, I'm not the biggest fan of mixing IPs in a game of EDH, then again, I am playing Blood for the Blood God! in my current deck list...
