- Hi everyone!! Today I'm showing what's inside my hospital bag. I hope this is helpful if you're getting ready to pack your hospital bag!:) I can't believe baby Layla will be here in a week, I can't wait! Thank you so much for watching and sharing this special time with me! Love you all!!

I always brought a special perfume when I had my babies because I have a very strong scent association. Now when I smell it It brings me right back to those sweet first moments when I was a new mama again. Nostalgia!
FINALLY! A realistic hospital bag from a mom who’s actually done it before! LOL
So tired of all the videos where the mom is bringing her entire bedroom with her!
This was so refreshing!

This is the most held back hospital bag video I've ever watched. Most people bring half their house and then some ;) I guess you become wiser the more kids you've had. Good luck on Monday!
Kayli, when my niece was born, they brought my sister a bed pan type thing, or one of those plastic vomit bowls, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, and a cup of water, so she could brush her teeth right there in bed. I'm sure if you asked they'd be more than happy to bring you one, with a cup or two. It's not as easy to do it, but you just spit into the bed pan, and rinse with the cup of water. Then Casey can go rinse it all off in the bathroom. Just wanted you to be aware that's also an option. She was dying to brush her teeth, and the nurse was like "Oh, we got you! Hang on!" and went to get the stuff.

I brought my laptop and charger, I saw Casey is in charge of that but I was always bored in the hospital, needed something to do when I couldn't sleep.
I also bring snacks so I'm not bugging the nurses 24/7 for food after. My kids always cluster feed the second day and I'm STARVING by that point.
I do up my after baby shower real good, hair and all, with sweats and an oversized t-shirt or nightgown to relax in. It's so nice.

Oh, I also bring my favorite blanket and pillow to help me get comfortable. Plus the baby's going home outfit. Also, be sure to get some witch hazel from the nurses. It feels soooo good on your hoohah
I always love having a little fan in my hospital bag. I get pretty warm during labor. Also I'm sure this is on your "last minute list" but a phone charger.
Exactly one day left until Kayli has the baby! Omg, I'm so excited!
iv seen people add snack like cliff bars so they don't have to rely on hospital staff when family are not around to fetch a snack between meals

Kayli my hands get really cracked and dry (I wash them too much lol) Eucerin is the best lotion for really dry hands - especially the eczema version. Even if you don't have eczema it's worth the buy, you don't have to put a lot on and it heals them right away!
I have never even considered those little toothbrushes, That is such a good idea!!!!!! They would have made my life so much easier the first time around lol. I also love the lipstick you have on!!!!

I have had the worst dry skin on my face this winter that I've ever had and nivea body milk lotion has saved my skin! You should really try it!

When i went to boot camp we had to but yes old Navy flip flops were great in the shower in boot camp... im currently pregnant and will be taking flip flops with me when i give birth! Thanks foe sharing another video!!

I'm one of those ladies who likes to take a shower as soon as possible after giving birth. For me, a loofa has always helped. You can scrub your back and get your legs a little without having to do to much bending. I bring a small body soap with as well. :)
My goodness Kayli your so beautiful and gorgeous, how the hell do you look so good when I was pregnant with all 4 of my children- expecting another one, I looked horrible! But I guess when your born naturally beautiful you always look! Love you Kayla hoping for a safe arrival of Layla Jane- love the name so much!

Maybe pack some simple snacks for Casey. Moms are fed at the hospital but dad will need somethingto keep his energy up as well. :)

If you want to put on one of your robes just ask one of the nurses to stop the iv and unhook it for you while you change :)

I would definitely pack some comfy house slippers. With my 2nd baby I skipped on a few things trying to "go with a light bag" and that was one of the things my hubby was in the store getting me as soon as I could get up and walk around afterwards, because I was missing them... and we lived a good 45 minutes from the hospital so it was quicker to just go buy another pair, but it was definitely worth it because my feet was freezing afterwards and socks just wasn't working, lol (thankfully my wonderful nurses was keeping me bundled from head to toe in blankets that felt like they were just pulling out of a never ending dryer for the first few hours and so even after that I had a ton of extra blankets around in my room) Best of Luck, & prayers for a smooth delivery & recovery. :)
