Why??? Unlimited budgets get shown the least expensive gowns. Tight budgets get shown dresses twice their budget. Now, there's nothing wrong with high budgets buying a less expensive gown, but USE THE BUDGETS GIVEN!!!
I'm guessing it's because the more expensive ones won't get to her in time
@@amaniheslop9243 but that still doesn't explain why the brides who are scrimping & saving only see dresses twice their budget when they do have dresses this cheap - that look amazing to boot - on the rack.
She looked great in all 3 dresses but the first one was just stunning on her.

So the lesson here is, if you ever visit this store and you have limited budget of £1,500 and below, say your budget is unlimited. That way, you can stay within budget otherwise they will show you £3,000 dresses.
This appointment had so much potential. They could have give her a jaw dropping dress.

Even with paying rush fees not every designer can supply in that time scale. They’ve got other dresses booked in for one thing.

If this were SYTTD Kleinfeld, they would have started with dresses at least $15,000.

It depends. I saw one episode where a bride wanted something very plain - and not like Pnina Tornai's style. She had an unlimited budget, but the one she bought wasn't that much more expensive than one would think. Again, it all depends on what the brides want.
She really is a very beautiful woman. There’s something so open & happy about her face. I loved the first dress on her the best. It was just so flattering.

As soon as she said she has an unlimited budget, I bet that the dress wouldn’t be expensive. If I had an unlimited budget I’d get a dress custom made for me! Or at least fly to Lancashire to see Gok. And surprise surprise, all 3 were cheap dresses. I really do not understand this store 🙄 There is no way that out of the hundreds of dresses in there, the only ones available on rush order were all under £2000 🤔 For goodness sake, the designer Christine Dando owns the darn store.
LOL " unlimited budget" was for the sake of the cameras - off camera the consultant was informed that the budget was greatly restricted to probably 1000 GBP. There is no way ANY store would start a bridge in a 900 GBP dress if the budget was unlimited. This may have been a royal family but some royal families are more affluent than others.
What a beautiful young lady, and it just goes to show you don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a gown. She looked absolutely gorgeous ! Very pretty.

Apparently she found the dress for her in this very shop. So if she did not go to this store, she may not have been so lucky.
Yes, they have fewer dresses, but maybe she researched the types of dresses they have and realized that she liked them. This shows that, for brides who do their research BEFORE they go on TV, they can be successful. No matter which store they go to.
She only had 4 months to get her dress. Meaning she could only shop among the sample dresses. Samples are limited. If she planned her dress shopping at a better time they would have had more options for her. She waited until last minute. It’s recommended at least 9 months to get a dress done.

She looked wonderful in every dress but the 3rd one really put her over the top. I don't think she could have found a more beautiful dress for her wedding. Stunning dress, stunning bride. Zoe, as always is precious.

Why is it that when a bride comes in and has a tiny budget they ALWAYS go over, but when the budget is unlimited, they walk out with a an inexpensive dress?
Because they don't. Generalizing like this because it is a meme doesn't mean that it is true. This bride seems to like the dresses that are not expensive. Lots of times brides will come in with low budgets and expect to "tick all the boxes" or "have that wow factor." For commenters to expect the shop to deliver is ridiculous.
This bride looks great with the dress that does not have all those expensive details. And Mori Lee is more affordable than other designers in this shop, like Ian Stuart (sp?) or Pnina Tornai. If other brides liked the cheaper dresses, they would have been put in them.

It's interesting how with an unlimited budget, that she picked a dress that was in the price range for many people. She just loved that dress and that's all that matters!!! She looks great in all the dresses...

Only time this store has low budget dresses. Otherwise they claim it cost this much and they don't have it cheaper and it can be same season so they have the dress they refused to show the low budget one when even is the style they asked for
I truly don’t get this shop. They do it every single time, no matter the timeframe. I’ve never seen them pull out an expensive dress for a bride with an unlimited budget, only for brides with small budgets. And there’s no way that out of all the dresses in the store they could only get ones under £2000 ordered in 4 months!

She actually picked a dress that probably exists in "Gok's store." Lancashire has Mori Lee. And besides, this was a rush order. Perhaps Gok would have been as limited in dress selection as this store?
She found a dress she loves. What is the problem? Why do you want her to spend more money than she needs to in order to find her "her dress?"
If Gok found the same one, y'all would be bowing down to the fact that he found a dress so much under her budget, and that "David would never have done that."

It is quite uncomfortable to watch how the consultant and the whole show want to emphasis her beeing a princess. Espacially because the bride and her Entourage barely mention it on their own.
If they hadn't mentioned it to the show's production company no one would have know.

I was disappointed with the selection given an unlimited budget. I understand she was shown dresses that could be made and delivered within 4 months. But with that type of budget, she could easily have chosen any gown in the store and paid the exorbitant rush fees.

Ummm...this is a Mori Lee dress. Apparently she can rush a dress order in only 4 months. And she is much cheaper than other designers. So nothing is wrong with them. They found her a dress that she loves AND will be ready on time for her wedding. So apparently, they found her a dress she will wear - so where is the problem?
Very beautiful bride and a very lovely family… All four of her “mothers” Were so kind and loving… What a fine example of how a mother should act is their daughter😊♥️♥️♥️♥️

Unlimited budget. Why is every dress they showed her under 2000 pounds? Yet someone will a strict budget gets shown dresses two to three times their budget.
No. It depends on what the brides want. And this bride liked a Mori Lee dress, and she is cheaper than others in the store. Please look at ALL the factors and not just price. Brides want what they want, and sometimes what they want is expensive, and sometimes not. It is not the fault of the store when their expectations exceed their price point.

Totally agree! The first dress looked lovely on her & was so flattering. That silhouette with more detailed beading/embroidery & a luxurious satin skirt would have been perfect in my humble opinion
With an unlimited budget and specific "royal wedding" parameters, I'm baffled as to why she wouldn't have a bespoke dress.
Cos she’s getting married in four months and has to buy one of the samples! Not enough time to get one made from scratch

The second dress is a nightmare. The shoulder embroiderie are fitting very badly. Nothing in that dress said Elegance.

Or Eva Lendel - she makes the most stunning elegant dresses! Or Zuhair Murad or Galia Lahav or any of the truly great designers. (Although not as impressed with the last 2 years of Zuhair Murad as I have been in the past, but still 🤷♀️)
I love, love, love Saab dresses. But they are usually more feminine, with more lace appliques and flowy skirts. I think this bride would have rocked any dress style, but it looks like she wanted something different.

All he did was say he designed the dress. And that is factual. And, although his ex-wife was co-designer, she is not on this show.
He does not mention this much on this show actually. He only mentioned it here when "royal wedding" came up. So it is kind of relevant, don't ya think? So maybe you are triggered by something else other than what he says on a TV show.

She looks beautiful in the dress, but i have a completely different idea of what dress I would have chosen for her 😅 probably off the shoulder, satin with a huge train. Could still have bling or form fitting but needs huge regal drapery if you ask me. But I could be totally wrong. Lol

This was just an ordinary wedding gown which have been shown again and again. Even with unlimited budget same dresses have shown again and again. When budget is unlimited then why not show some really jaw dropping dresses.

The Last dress on its own was the most beautiful but did not give her the illusion of a waist like the first dress did. When you have a heavy bride with a gut, you've got to do the corset! They surely had other dresses with the structure she needed with an unlimited budget. Gok would have found one just like the one she chose but that gave her a waist.

As some whose profession was once designing/sewing wedding dresses, I wouldn't brag about having been on the design team for the wedding dress of Princess Diana. She was way too classy for that parachute.

Agree. She’s a very talented and patient consultant. Don’t understand why the producers need to have David narrate her work as if his skills are superior. He’s a one-hit wonder. Zoe has staying power.

She only had 4 months. So they looked first in the ones with the gowns they could get in time. Of she hadn't liked any of these dresses, I am sure the appointment would have included the other ones - with the drama of having to call the designers and ask for a rush.

£2000 IS a tight budget in a store that carries Ian Stuart and Pnina Tornai. If a bride wants glam, glitz, and bling with a premium designer tag, they will have to pay more no matter which store they are in.
She happened to like the Mori Lee dresses, which are on the cheaper side. If you notice, Dando London also has more affordable gowns in here. If brides like these dresses, then they will pay less. If they like the other ones, they will pay more. It is simple.

Why would you put a $1200 dress on someone with an unlimited budget but yet all the episodes I’ve seen with David Emanuel he ALWAYS goes over budget for the brides who don’t have an unlimited budget. And just a note I think that is very tacky to ALWAYS go over their budgets.

My thoughts exactly!!! I’d go to town & get the perfect custom wedding dress made for me if I had a truly unlimited budget. At the very least I’d fly to Lancashire (from Australia) & see Gok if I could
Maybe she doesn't want to start from scratch? Maybe she would have to research which designers she would have to personally visit, and she doesn't have the time. Considering her dress shopping is last minute, I surmise that she doesn't have the time (or maybe the energy) to do all the other.
Gok is not magic. And his store may carry the gown she purchased. Which she loves. Which she found in this store. Just because you think she can do better doesn't mean that she wants to try or even that she thinks she needs to do better. She likes the dress. Why is that a problem for you?

The veil is probably not the one she will wear. It is only to get the experience of A veil like when she walks down the aisle. She can get a veil almost anywhere to match her gown within that 4 months.
