Thanks, that's an excellent straightforward guide vid! Even though I'm into slow swamp surfing on my Merida, still need goggles cause of flying mud and goddamn swarms of bugs
I made it!! And without any touch of my fingers, so both lenses are clean :D Took me like 10 minutes of fighting and working with the fabric in my hand to not to touch any of the lenses. I definitelly do not want to do it again. I will stick with that transparent lens. That was the reason why i bought the lenses in the first place...
They are for one or multiple protective layers of plastic film (called tearoffs). When riding motocross, offroad, etc. Mud and other particles get all over the goggles after a while. This allows you to pull off the top layer to a cleaner layer without stopping to clean the goggles. Irrelevant on the street, but useful on the dirt.
Terrible design. This shit took me about 20 minutes to get properly and now the "new" lens is covered with fingerprints and smushes, I will never replace it again. Either get the cheaper model with single lens or get the more expensive one with the better replacement mechanism.
Someone needs to make a film like the one that comes with it for protection from scratches. Instead of tear offs which are good for flying mud but dust gets under and then they get scratched....
Thank you man, still helping people 2 years later
Still helping 6 years later
@just_k9777 👍🏻👍🏻
thank you, man, I was sitting, twirling my glasses in my hands and didn’t know how to change the glass👍🏽
the amount of satisfaction i got when he pulled of the protective film
wdym he just wasted a what could've been tear off
And after that he just left his fingerprints all over the new lens. 🤦♂So painful to see.
@csabapapp8481 You right, I like to ride with them like that
Thanks, that's an excellent straightforward guide vid!

Thanks bro even 5 years later this tutorial still useful
Took my lens out to clean, got it back in and it's dirtier than it was when I started!
word! :D
Way easier than their instructions on the back

You also could wear gloves 🙈
Much more useful than brand's instructions
Thank you
nice
i heat the frame up to around 80-90 degrees nice n malleable
Helpful video…but I am on the verge of a temper tantrum jamming the lens in lmao
Hahaha it is aggravating
Thanks man, new to riding and wanted to remove my lens to clean it.
No problem!
THANK YOU! ALMOST STARTED TAKING THESE THINGS APART LOLOL
Thank yoy.спасибо мотобро🎉🎉🎉🏍️🏍️🏍️🇷🇺💯
I got the goggles now how do I order the lenses ? What r the size of the lenses ?
Thanks! This was SUPER helpful!
Can you put the previous one back on?
I’m sure you can
Thanks, this actually really helped me out
Great!
Super helpful, but it killed me to watch him put his fingers on the lense
Thanks. Much appreciated!
Welcome!
Bro I deadass didn't know how to. Thank you..
does this work for the otg version (over the glasses)
It should but not sure
yes it does. the only difference with the otg and the regular goggles is the frame sticks out more. same lens though
YES ALL 100% are the same lense fitment. gotta love that!
What are those pins on the lens for?

@@theguitarhero898 you can run about 8 or 10 layers before it becomes foggy IF you get the good ones maybe more
Are the tear offs a one-time use?
Yes
Great video man even was stage same thing for my race craft
Appreciate it👍🏻
thank you for you tutorial, sir
Very helpful so I dont break mine. I still may just buy a clear set for $15.
Thanks man! Much appreciated
Are the ones that you had on the GOLDEN??
Yes they were
Why you pull the protection film for it there to keep your lens from getting scratched up
Is it possible that mine arrived with only one side of protective layer?
I assume it’s possible
Does this works with the strata model ?
Yes it does
thanks man, it helped
Can it use without these little pins on the lens
Explain more?
Thank you for sharing the knowledge.
is this an accuri 2?
It’s the accuri 1
Helped 5 years later but sill annoying 😅 thank Bro
I'm proud of myself now
thank you sooooo much for making this video
Thank you!
Holy shit, I wish I would never have to do this ever again
Yeah, seeing this, maybe i'll just get another pair of clear ones. Good vid tho.
Cheers mate
Cheers
Are these the strata goggles
Accuri
What's the point of the tear off tabs
They look annoying
So you can apply tear off to the goggles and tear them off when the goggles get muddy to clear your vision
Wana have a good mirror lense spary paint 😎
😂
@@GRmotors mhm gots good options don't like clear use your favorite color spray paint 😎😂

For my accuri 2, it is much easier to install from the top
Why is this so fucking hard :/
To buy tinted lenses almost makes no sense. its basically cheaper to buy a whole set of goggles
Tinted lenses are very usual during certain times of the day. They are a little more expensive

I agree with that
