Probably the most unlucky and deserving gymnast when it comes to the Olympics for her country. She easily could've had a floor and beam medal in London but injured herself, then politics kept her out from Rio. Then she easily could've been AA champion in 2017 and injured herself. One of the best beam workers ever but fell on all her EF... Just so unlucky.

She suffered another accident at Rio while She warm-up, broking Achile tendon and has a surgey . After 8 months of recovery , She Discovery that surgery was not well done and She got another surgery then another recovery. Few weeks ago She said îs fully recovery and She wish to compete again .

I was 10 when mary lou was doing her thing so alas as a 14 year old gay boy i got hooked to Brandy... Thanks so much for your vids I love them!!!
They offered her to train in the gym they had booked for their own athletes. The USA did too, if I remember correctly. Larisa was the replacement athlete for Catalina Ponor, but the Romanian federation hadn't bothered organising her a training gym while in Rio, so Larisa had to stay in a fitness center without equipment. I think in the end she trained with the US replacement athletes.
Yes it is. She should have been world champion this time, but some people just can't seem to catch a break. I hope she comes back and gets her happy ending. :(

Larissa as very high difficulty in her beam routine.. she is a stellar on the BEAM
after knowing what happened in the Tokyo Olympics, i'm incredibly gutted. she went into beam with an ankle injury and had to withdraw from finals :(
