I can't believe people call her a bad sport for her reaction to the silver in the AA. That poor girl was DEVASTATED. Still can't look at her without getting a lump in my throat.
So many people acted like she was a spoiled toddler pouting and acting bratty because she didn't get her way or because someone else got some attention. She had worked her ass off for most of her life and made a mistake when it really counted. She was heartbroken and angry at herself. All she did was look unhappy, and disappointed with herself. The way some people talk about her behavior you would think she was bashing the other gymnasts over some trivial prize. All of the competitors are exhausted, possibly in pain, and self-critiquing their own performances in their heads. It is completely ridiculous to bash someone who has had a disappointing competition just because they look disappointed and angry with themselves, especially when you consider that you are talking about a teenage girl.
Komova was and always will be the definition of what Artistic Gymnastics should look like. She is the real queen of this sport and always was. Her lines, artistry and grace matched with her powerful work on all events is unbeatable. She will be missed and has for sure stamped her name in the history of best gymnasts.

We all know that Komova was a better gymnast than Douglas, 100% truth. But that day she did wrong, and Douglas did a good job. Althought shes has really overscored on Bars, REALLY. I stop myself from keeping on thinking on Ifs. Douglas was better that day, but that doesnt turn off the light of a brilliant gymnast that is Komova. One of the prettiest, if not the one.

Just because Komova had a bad day doesn’t mean she’s a better gymnast than Gaby. Both are good. If Komova would’ve won gold, anyone could’ve said that Gaby could’ve won if she had a good day.

You should do Gabby Douglas next the first African American gymnast to win an Olympic AA gold medal and team gold at the same Olympic games and to come back and win another team gold at the Olympics in 2016 making her the first AA American champion since Nadia Comaneci to compete at another Olympic games.
She is a talented gymnast but a very sore loser. Winning silver at the 2011 worlds and 2012 Olympics is a huge accomplishment. There are so many girls out there who would only dream of being in her shoes.

She is the best gymnast in the world hands down. She’s clean shes light and she’s graceful and perfect. The Russians are the best. The Americans ruined the beauty of this graceful sport.
It is supposed to be creative. Simone Biles is the best gymnast in the world. She can do difficult skills with amazing execution. Viktoria is amazing, but she isn't the best gymnast in the world. Gymnastics isn't called "graceful gymnastics". It is called artistic gymnastics.
