Amir, great video…I’ve enjoyed your very educational presentations! As you bought a very respected all terrain aircraft I wonder if you sold the Big Bird what if any loss you would see?….. Are the prices for (almost new birds) increasing? Continue with your safe flying, obtain the ATR and change professions as you have growing turbine time.

Amir, Also when over water make sure you have flotation available…in the Hamptons at Montauk Airport I spoke with an owner of a TBM who had an engine with loss of power after takeoff from JFK. He made it back on the ground. The mechanic found a rubber glove in a fuel tank.

I carry life jackets for everyone in the plane when we are over water. Thanks for watching.

Always keep that centerline between your legs, on takeoff, upwind, final and landing. Rudder to keep the longitudinal axis parallel with the runway, ailerons to keep you on centerline. Look down the runway then look at the end of the runway as you flare.

Regarding any discomfort flying alone …I can relate…negative effects of Hypoxia can affect some pilots at lower altitudes. When flying my Twin Bonanza years ago I always carried an O2 tank and cannulas…. after 4 hours at 9500 +feet I would fill tired and apprehensive with perhaps with a hint of acrophobia by using O2 at altitude I felt great! Also your never alone flying as you have ATC W flight following…with a rare Bird you will find many controllers interested. Always fly the plane, forget radios, TH-cam activities unless …you are confident.

Just fly more alone bud, your plane is one of the most capable aircrafts out there. It can handle pretty much any condition. Dont ever give your attention to a GoPro when you are PIC and not feeling comfortable. Currency is key, thats why I fly alone allot. Great videos, you got this!

As-salaam alaikum Amir, keep at it! Allah really saved you when He caused that Bronco to lose a wheel. If you guys had kept going you may have passed out and died from CO poisioning. Sometimes a bad thing turns out to be a blessing in disguise!

250hrs on the airplane and you don't want to fly it solo? You don't want to land on the opposite runway?
    I don't like windy landings?
    I don't have enough hrs?
    Please don't ever fly alone.
With 250hrs in that Kodiak you should have been flying alone as soon as your insurance allowed you.
If you want to be a better pilot, get off the book. Get used to making decisions and improving your SA in the pattern. Circuits in the opposite direction are perfect mirrors and you're in a controlled environment.
You are a smart competent person. Stop getting stuck inside your head. Compartmentalize your flight into secrions so that you don't get overwhelmed by over complicating basic procedures. Use your checklists and most of all, relax and enjoy the experience.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been flying alone a lot more frequently in the past 6 months.
