Maddie is by far the most amazing young and possibly in general talented artist I have ever witnessed. She uses and works with Sia and her music and matches things more than I think anyone else could (at least to this style of music) and she speaks through to my soul in a way I have never felt before. I almost feel i was her when I was young and was trying so hard to break free from everything negative in life.
I think she's the best female artist in pop.

Does anyone even actually know what this song is about? It is for the victims of the Orlando shooting. The rainbows Maddie draws on her face represent the LGBTQ community. Maddie has 49 back up dancers to represent the 49 victims. That's why she is crying at the end. I honestly think this is a perfect portrayal. The song has a nice beat, when they were dancing they were just having fun and being themselves. Then they drop dead. Just goes to show you never know what might happen. RIP to the Orlando victims.

Edit: in this context the leotard is not sexual in any way. And tradition is probably not the best way I could've described it. As a dancer leotards make it much easier to move around when you're trying to dance, and I assume it's the same for gymnasts as well

As for me, I'm not particularly impressed by this video as it's just a bunch of kids prancing about. It's what I call a 'flash video' - a video made up of a sequence of shots only a few seconds in length such that we barely get time to see what's in the picture. Honestly, I've seen so many people dance these type of dances and nobody has moved me like Maddie. Dancing is like painting. Anyone can paint by number. Some people follow the steps perfectly and stay in the lines flawlessly. And the painting comes out just as it should. Then there are those that just free paint. Sure they may paint out of the lines or use the wrong colors but what they end up creating is an emotionally moving and unique piece of are. That's Maddie.

2.Their are 49 dancers, representing the 49 deaths at the Pulse shooting
3. The bullet holes in the wall is another reference
4. At the end they are in nightclub and all drop down
5. All the dancers are Hispanic, representing the Hispanic night held there

I looked up how old is sia thinking she is so talented for her young age and found out she was *40* years old, I was so confused. Turns out shes using her voice but not her self image to promote herself. Which is a brilliant move on her part.
She's been doing music for many years and has written many popular songs I'm really happy she's becoming her own artist
She was in a group called Zero 7 back then. Pretty good music.
She doesn't show her face anymore because of stage fright and she has Grave's disease which can cause facial distortion. Before she was really big she used to perform live where you could see her face, there's still some stuff up on youtube!
