The actual name of the ring is Bolder's Ring. These videos tend to heavily lean towards mainstream stuff & I am pretty sure that the only reason the Xeelee ring is in this is because people have requested it on the last couple comparison videos (myself included). Xeelee are from a series of novels by Stephen Baxter colloquially known as the Xeelee Sequence. The novels themselves however don't focus on the Xeelee too heavily with them generally being a background aspect in the various stories. Nonetheless, among sci-fi circles, they are certainly one of the contenders for one of the most powerful civilizations in the entirety of sci-fi.
I am surprised the City from BLAME! was not included in this. It would totally dwarf even the dyson sphere shown here. Speaking of dyson spheres, Forerunners from Halo have dyson spheres & unlike the Star Trek one, they are able to condense said 2 AU structures within a space-time anomaly of only 25cm or so.
If we want to go absolute biggest, largest I can think of would be some of the various constructs by the Downstreamers from the Manifold series of novels from Stephen Baxter again. Some of their structures can encompass the entire universe & may even be infinite in scope due to their transcendental nature. I think I mentioned that in MBS' original video. I doubt MBS would even be able to visualize some of them.
Regarding Gunbuster, it is crack cocaine. It is an anime that has like mechs & space monsters firing star destroying beams the same way we would fire a machine gun. It is ridiculous.
He included some novels that have not adapted into visual form yet, like Xeelee Sequence (18 books saga that started in 1991) and Rendezvous with Rama (1973 book, sometimes considered a superior book than the same author's 2001: A Space Odyssey).
OK, Gunbuster is made up of two spacecraft (Buster Machines) that combine to form a giant mecha to fight space ‘bugs’. Buster Machine 3 used the planet Jupiter as the core for a black hole bomb. The anime was a 3 part OVA series that was kind of fun.

I know iam a year late BUT you GOTTA play Mass Effect. And the Citadel is no weapon. Its a space station with 17 million citizens that is a billion years old.
The Destiny ships always felt larger than they are since you experience them from inside or on the outside of the ship. The Leviathan's purpose was to 'eat' worlds to turn into food for the Emperor of the Cabal, the Dreadnaught is part of a corpse of a god that got turned into a King's ship, and the Almighty is functionally similar to the Leviathan, but it instead uses the energy from destroying a planet into a beam that forces a Star into a Supernova.
Macross is part of what became Robotech in the US.
Harmony Gold combined 3 different series to make Robotech, the original Macross series was one of them.
Though the Macross anime series kept going after that.
When The Halo Ring installation 04 and then Installation 00 made my eyes water and because the Halo soundtrack is really good
the wandering earth is a movie about the sun is going to exploded so human decide instead of build a spaceship with nearly no way make it to destination, why don't we just build thruster and push earth to the habitable solar system?
