Awesome to do the walk through in the marinas. Anytime I am in Florida, I try to walk through a marina as well. Gives me a bit of a vacation feeling

Hey Justin! I watch a lot of TH-cam and came across a few of your videos recently, and noticed my Boston Whaler 325 Conquest; great stuff right there! I will be requesting you through MarineMax for any needed services/repairs! Thank you for what you do!

Great video! I knew there had to be a leak somewhere, coolant rarely disappears for no reason.

Thank you and I am back on the boat right now. It will be on the next episode tonight. ☺️

Justin, in some other video I think I recall you making an electrical connection for something and to improve connectivity you added some kind of conductive grease. Can you please tell me what it was if you can recall?
    Thank you
    Steve

It would have been dielectric grease. You can get it at any parts store.

@@JustinLeeMarine ah, I'm confused then. I thought the grease you were putting on was to improve the connection. Isn't dielectric grease an insulator? If so, do you just add then when you make an electrical connection to keep water out?
      Thanks
      Steve

Dielectric works great for deutsch connectors and battery connections. If you want to protect the wires when you connect them you will have to use heat shrink connectors. Blue Sea is probably the best brand for boat electrical stuff.

Those white PVC things on the research boat are for dive tanks. Typically they would have bungee cords on the top or bottom cross bar to go over the valves of the tanks to make sure the tanks don’t fall out as they are running to the site.

I figured it was something for diving. Thank you for the info. I always like learning from you guys. That's why I ask questions.

@@JustinLeeMarine yeah no worries if I had to guess that boom of the back is probably for like a tow fish that’s used for under water surveying kinda like a c-more map. If they are anything like Jacksonville University (FL) they are probably putting in artificial reefs and then mapping the area.

Great video bud I got a question I got the hurricane 2690 with the Yamaha 425 outboard which I see a lot on your video I’m looking to change it to a4 blade prop any recommendation

Look into what Mercury props you can get. They seem to always do well on a Yamaha. They make adapters to convert them to any brand.

Justin please need an honest opinion. I'm looking to buy a 2020 regal 38 Grand coupe. Are they pretty good boats, or are they prone to any issues, Should I be worried about anything with the Volvo 380?

If you are going to keep it in saltwater then I would pass. If it's freshwater then it's a good choice. I don't recommend I/Os in saltwater. Outboards will be better in the saltwater. Regal builds a good boat and it will have the same problems all boats have. Nothing out of the ordinary. 😊

Yes, freshwater here in Ontario, Canada. Thanks for the feedback. I keep watching your vids, they really help!!
