KNITTED POT HOLDER / TRIVET PATTERN
Depending on what cord or rope you are using will determine the number of cast on stitches and size of needles to create aprox. 8.5” (21.6cm) square.
All cord or rope is same method.
Cast on below amount of stitches
Row 1: slip 1st and last stitch. Remainder of stitches are knit
Row 2: purl 1st and last stitch. Remainder of stitches are knit
Repeat rows 1 & 2 until you have almost a square ending on a purl row.
Cast off and use crochet hook to make loop and weave in ends.

Very nice. Thankyou. Can’t wait to try this
Can this be done in a circle?
Funny you should ask. I thought about doing circle trivets but I prefer to crochet those with a magic circle. Will put it on my to do list for a video.
Yes! Give it a try for sure!
