Do you like this exhaust still now that you have had it for a couple months? And is it pretty secure with the strap being so far back? Like does it wiggle a lot or pretty solid?
I don't even use the strap. The springs do a good job of holding everything together. It wiggles ever so slightly, but not enough to cause concern for track day and race use.
Nice video. Sounds great. I'm debating between full system or just a slip on. I plan on going to track days. Would a full system be too loud do you know?
Yea it’s loud as hell, louder than my buddy’s straight piped gsxr1000 and I recently became aware that you can get flagged for being too loud at the track, so much for that one lol. Guess I’m sticking to the local 1/8 and 1/4 mile tracks
For track days you absolutely want a full system. Save the $ you would have spent on just a slip on and put it towards a full exhaust, high flow filter, and dyno tune. It's more expensive, but you'll get the most out of the $ you're spending on the track days.
For a 600 a full system is not worth it even if youre taking it to the track unless its gonna be converted to a race bike. A slip on is enough if its gonna be used on the street and occasional track use. Its a waste of money. This is from someone that has a 2023 zx6r with a slip on and a 2020 zx6r with full system thats built for track only use
Do you have more torque with the full system? I am definitely happy with my top end power on my 600cc version from 2016 (limited edition). I want more torque but will this street slayer system full fill my wish? Let me know and thanks for the great video!
Sorry but I just noticed this myself but if you’re wanting more umphh in your bike like low and mid range change your sprockets. Try a -1 in front to start out, speedo healer also if your sensor doesn’t read from the wheel.
So i notice at the end 07 seconds left you had that lack of power that mine does too!! And you do have the same power commander V that i installed on my 2019 zx6r and im sure ass hell that thats the same noise of lack of power. correct me if im wrong but this Power commander V does not do its job when it comes to have it on this bike please let me know if its just me or if you have that lack of power issue after you installed the power commander thanks.
I didn’t notice a difference with the power commander. Only reason I added it was to run auto tune with higher octane fuels. Prior to pcV I had it custom tuned on dyno

I think maybe it was just a poor launch he didn't bring up the revs enough
No it had the traction control on turn it off and you will not get that boggle of power
