What you doing is basically a dream of mine, and for now I get to live that dream vicariously through you. I’m also from the Western Cape, and if land wasn’t so expensive I would probably be in the process of buying a plot of land near to you. We actually sold up and packed everything to make the move to George so the kids could still get to really good schools while we build up the farm on weekends and holidays. The idea would be once the kids are in high school that we can move and live 100% off the land.
