Good point! Plastic pikes are also not too terribly long on those ones. I think historically they were also shorter than Macedonian ones but i might be wrong.
my knowledge of pike and shotte is literally only 30 years war. Never really seen stuff about the italian wars. Heck most pike and shotte era models are ECW stuff. KInda like how most models i find in the states are either WW2 or ACW. Cool that it comes with bases. Looks nice
It seems the end of the 15th century is quite transitional. More emphasis on the pike than the shotte. The hand guns back in those days pale in comparison to the 30 years war stuff from what I’ve seen. One could argue it’s still Medieval in a sense I’m sure! Thanks for watching!

I like the way the pikes are on one arm so that you can fix them when they breand when they break good video

the arms look long because at the time, belts were worn at the 'natural' waist, much higher than we wear belts today.
