Whilst the scale may not look as nice cos of the difference, we have to remeber that there will be a variety of people of a variety of hights and shapes on a battlefield, so its probably more realistic to have the mix of sizes.
I am applying some Victrix hoplite shield decals to victrix hoplites but the plastic is really hard, and I cannot mold the transfers to the domed shield without making it look hideous. Any way I can get around this??
Will you be selling these later ?(as in a store page) because the kickstarter ended .
Yes, all of the decals I sell on my etsy store. These will be up there as well - but for now feel free to check out my other items: www.etsy.com/shop/DestroyCarthage
Well its 5 years after you posted this and I am learning from it so thanks so much for doing the hard work.
Just looking at getting into this game and your videos are so helpful. Thanks for doing this. Easily the best on the internet.
These are insane Mate!
Very helpful. Thank you.
Incredible work! Did you use a wash on any of these guys? Sir Kennedy's surcoat looks outstanding. I love all of the depth and tone in the white and am wondering how to achieve it myself.
Great series - thanks for posting this.
Hey what's your website so I can purchase some transfers
This is the greatest idea ever!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Glad you think so!
Could you please send your info, as I would like to purchase some of your shield transfers
www.etsy.com/shop/DestroyCarthage All info there!
I'm in. Or I will be when it starts!
Thank you very much!
Great stuff . . . . as you say, will save HOURS. ..and my eye-sight !
That's the hope!
These look great!
Thank you!
Super stuff,do you have a link to the Kickstarter
It's ended now - I thought i had put it in somewhere - but in any case, www.etsy.com/shop/DestroyCarthage It will show up there!
The scots generally stayed out fondue Hundred Years war between 1406-1430 and for good reason. In 1406, in a attempt to keep his heir safe from the political intrigue of Robert Stewart, Duke of Albany, King Robert III of Scotland attempted to send his heir James to France for safety. English sailors captured the ship carrying James and brought him to London where he was held in the Tower as a prisoner. In April of 1406, King Robert III died. Meaning the 11 year old James, a prisoner in English hands was know King of Scots. James would be a prisoner for the rest of the reign of Henry IV and all of Henry V's reign as King of England though he was treated more like a guest and seems to have become a friend and companion of Henry V by the final years of the victor of Afincourts reign. james even accompanied and fought in Henrys's 1421-1422 campaign in france, attended the cornination of Catherine of Valios as Queen of England, and sat with the King and Queen did in the feast afterwards (sitting to the queens left while Henry day to her right). He also accompanied Henry on the royal progress and was with the English king when Henry died. He then was one of the commanders of the escort that Brought the body back to London. James also married Joan Beaufort one of Henry's cousins(a daughter of one of Henry IVs half brothers). He was released early in the reign of Henry VI in 1424. The Scots agreed to a truce during his captivity to last at least till England had received the final ransom payments from the Scots for James which happened in 1430. This is why Scotland which took a active part in the hundred years war was not as active during the Agincourt era.
Can’t wait to play ❤
These are amazing. How did you get that beautiful yellow?
how do you do your metals that shine is insane
Looks great
the arms look long because at the time, belts were worn at the 'natural' waist, much higher than we wear belts today.
The polearm you found weird is called a "partisan"
question: can we use this minis in he period of War of the roses???
I think war of the roses is a little later in the 15th century, so you'd want to use the Perry box sets that cover 1450-1500. Agincourt foot knights are more so earlier 15th century.
@@carthagemustbedestroyed THANK YOU
This is insane! You are one of the best miniature painters on youtube
You're too much - I cant lay claim to that title , haha. Thank you though, glad you like it!
Great entrance into the game - I do think to start with.
I can use the men at arms for my empire knights in warhammer the old world!
Absolutely!
Big help! Thank you. Excited for Epic. Are you? I subbed. please consider sending one my way. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment. I've looked at epic but I really love painting the 28mm scale and how it sits, so I'll probably stick with 28mm personally. Def a good scale to get into if you want mass battles!
newest comment !
Superb knights.
looking good
Effective and superb, thanks for sharing!
Thanks again! I have done a lot and I just like to do them for each project - a bit of the same but some new decals
Always appreciate the tutorials and can't wait to see the project launch, I need some lobster heraldry in my life. Coincidentally I am using the same type of tweezers and working on shields watching this (sponge painting).
The tweezers aren't really that great. I prefer the ones that have the angled end, but I cant find mine for the life of me and keep forgetting to get new ones. Hands and fingers work just as well it seems, haha. Thanks for watching, appreciate it. I hope to see the Knights of Lobster emerge all across the wargaming world.
Excellent tutorial mate
Thank you very much!
Very nice. 👏
Thank you! 😊
What was your paint recipe for the armor
I used vallejo and citadel paints. The base coat is vallejo oily steel washed with citadel nuln oil then layered with gw iron breaker and edged with runefang steel
The Kingdom of Numidia has the strongest warriors and is now known as the State of Algeria. Glory be to our ancient ancestors. An interesting review 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿👍
Yes, a wonderful amazing and strong history in that part of the world! Thanks for watching.
Lovely miniatures sir.
Thank you kindly
Outstanding my friend 👏
Thank you!
Link pleasssssse
www.etsy.com/ca/shop/DestroyCarthage It’s all on Etsy now!
Make the warhammer leader a grumpy old man! Also the crotch protection is called a groin plate!
Wonderful! The freehand is stunning! May I ask what game system you are planning to use the for?
Thank you very much. I’ve been using them for lion rampant so far
Wow really nice paint job on those foot knights. what paints do you use? and how do you get that look on the armor?

Great video! I know I'm a bit late to this conversation, but I'm finding these unboxings helpful, as I'm dipping my toe into Victrix stuff at the moment. The Foundry part at the end made me chuckle - and feel my age. Good stuff!
Thanks for watching! Victrix is a great option though I still do love the old foundry lot… have fun with the minis!
I literally bought all of the medieval sets off of etsy without even realizing you had a TH-cam channel 😅 never used a waterslide decal before and really appreciate the video. Makes me much more willing to try it without being nervous of ruining them. And really appreciate the historical ones as I wanted to paint up an army based on my own family tree and names. And painting heraldry that small would have been insane. All that to say thanks for the tutorial and thanks for making the decals they look awesome man
Glad to be of help. Some older waterslide from other companies are flimsy but I think with the ones I got you get plenty so can try them out on something else first . Once you get it down it is very simple and easy and looks good! Thanks for watching. :)
But you realize that humans have 6 packs, 8 packs and even a 10 packs? ;)
Might as well let em have 12 packs. The strongest Gauls!
With the release of Blood and Crowns, I bought a box of this along with French and Brit Argencourt sets. Combined them for a great Free Companies group.
That’s awesome! They’re really a versatile kit and allow for lots of things in all sorts of games and projects
super fun!
banger and so true
