I've been to Gatlinburg many times, but I've never stayed here. Normally we've stayed at the Park Vista (the circular hotel on the top of the mountain) - please tell me you went and saw the beautiful glass elevators there! Also that stream outside of the balcony was probably the Little Pigeon River which snakes throughout Gatlinburg.
This is a really nice hotel. I definitely wish there was a lamp on the desk though. It’s really cool to see the room have a balcony. Though it wasn’t probably the best for launching the drone since there was a sign and a tree very close by. I definitely agree with you saying the cheaper, budget hotels seem to be cleaner. I guess they take cleanliness more seriously to make up for the fact that sometimes the rooms are dated and not as nice, which I’ll take any day. I’d way rather be in a clean place. @dieselducy 0:24 I think the zoom image would be much better on a 4K Handycam. I would use the Sony FDR-AX43/AX53 4K camcorder for a better image zoom.

Nice room, but $350 for a 1-star chain?! I stayed at a 3-star La Quinta in Fort Worth in August for less than $100 a night.
