The hotel used to be our #1, but like you said it’s definitely in need of updates in the main areas. I like the room updates, although they didn’t really touch the bathrooms. My 2 biggest complaints are the elevators and the parking! My car has taken some hits in that garage because it’s so tight! The best part is the location for sure! ✌️
All About The Smokies I don’t think it’s bad either; and we’d stay there again because the location is awesome! It’s just not our first choice like it had been in years past 😉
I didn't like that the restroom was so small. We have gotten accustomed to the larger restrooms in newer hotels. That wasn't much of a mountain view from your balcony.

Thank y’all for the video. The bears by the pool were really nice. I like scenic balcony views, but the mountain seemed to close.

The elevator is so slow. Not a bad place, just not our favorite! :)

Edgewater is our go-to and favorite Gatlinburg hotel😊

I like the looks of the pools. I think I would worry about bears being in those woods around the hotel.
Pool was fun for sure. We didn't see bears but I could see it happening!
