Very helpful. Thanks Jay! I'll try to spend some money with you this year since you're serving up all this knowledge for free

I use that 200 spring on an old slider to load the car. Especially if its gotta stay in the box a day or 2. Personally I have an 80, 100 and a 125 with me and I have my lengths and numbers recorded so I know where I will be if I change. But I dont let those soft springs hold up the car over time. I watched all the way thru. Trying to think of some good places to share. Great information here.

Hey jay thanks for the great info as far as scaling with a separate setup for the lr do you just set that slider to sit at a the center to center of your desired ride height once it’s on the car ? I know this adjustment won’t affect rear percentage much but it would seem to have an impact on bite depending on how you adjust your spring ?

Set the LR spring and slider to ride height with the desired bite you want, don't need to get it too high. Stock car 125, mod 40 than do your preload.

Would you recommend these same rates / load numbers on a sport mod with metric rear end / stock rear mounts.

Southern Sport mod/ maybe not as this car is already tight and needs a lot of help to turn on the front tires. But if you want it tight than yes.

Jay why don't we scale the car the way we race it? I've never understood why we wanna run a spring that we aren't gonna race on.

It just messes everything up, life is to short to have to deal with all that. LOL
