Brenda and Sonny continue to have a serious talk about where their relationship is going and she lays it on the line for Sonny. Sonny then finally says those famous 3 words to Brenda for the first time. I will never forget this scene!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this scene right here! My girl just ELEVATE their relationship, I LOVE how PASSIONATE Brenda is about their relationship. Sonny pick your head up baby she COMING and COMING HARD!!! Brenda VALUED herself and she felt if, Sonny wasn't ready to LEVEL UP then she has to move on. I can RESPECT THAT! Whenever Brenda tilt that head you know she means business and is about to bring it to you. S&B put me all the way in my feelings with this scene. I get butterflies in my stomach EVERY TIME I watch this. Brenda is so calm and clear about what she wants and needs in her life at this point. They are so vulnerable and their emotions are WIDE OPEN! Baby this 20 year old is PUSHING THRU!!!!! And I am so HERE FOR IT!!!!!!

Brenda came to play NO GAMES!!! Sonny didn't know what had hit him, baby. She basically told him LOVE ME or LEAVE ME! He was HELLA quiet the whole time, I bet he was thinking ISH JUST GOT REAL!!! I love Brenda she is not afraid to speak up for what she wants. This was the first time they both said, "I love you". When Brenda turned to walk away at that point Sonny was like she SERIOUS! My man said he will FIGURE IT OUT, LOL!!!
When Sonny tells Brenda he loves her, it seems so real to me. Brenda is the only woman to ever see Sonny's humane side. Brenda is his first love. I know he fell inlove again and that's fine, but the kind of love he had and still has for Brenda is incomparable. Sonny has never ever loved the same way again.

This episode of Brenda and sonny is one of my top ultimate favorites 😢 so emotional to me, to them both!
This was a beautiful scene, and Maurice and Vanessa did wonderful job. Sonny was scared. He was scared to tell her he loved her, scared he would lose her, and scared she would hurt him. sonny has a soft vulnerable side and Brenda was the ONE and ONLY woman (next to his mother) who brought that out in him. Brenda made Sonny want to be a better man. She brought out the best in him. All the other women accepted him as is(a cold hearted hood). That's why for me, it's S&B 4ever and a day!

Love this scene, such a defining moment for both of them. You literally feel the emotion and you could really feel their pain and anguish and the look in Sonny's eyes and the expression in face when he says "I love you Brenda," was so powerful and magical. It was real and raw emotion. It was his first most vulnerable moment with Brenda, he really opened his heart to her for the first time, truly and completely. It's like Brenda said it herself, Sonny had been with a lot of women but he never opened up to any them, none of them really held a place in his heart until her. She's the one who taught him what real love was, passion and raw emotion, true commitment. She's his soulmate! She brought out his humanity and turned that irredeemable slim bag who used Karen and turned him into a redeemable anti-hero, she's literally the best part of him. With her all his fears and insecurities disappear. I've never seen Sonny have that kind of emotion with anyone else, not Carly and certainly not Connie. Sonny and Brenda FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!

There’s a poll right now on FB on the General Hospital Fan Page to bring back Robin or Brenda! After watching this scene I would LOVE for Vanessa/Brenda to come back but like in 2010 the writers got it ALL WRONG. Sad that some fans are rude about Brenda on FB. Guess what?? Carly is definitely no PRIZE PACKAGE! THE WRITERS JUST settled for Carly! The problem is that those people NEVER saw this BEAUTIFUL love story! Will be an S/B fan forever!

This is my umpteenth time watching these scenes of S&B. I find it hard to watch GH anymore. I love Sonny and I compare every woman he's with for the moment with Brenda. Believe me, none of them compare, not even close. The writing doesn't do the show justice and a lot of fans are leaving because of it. I have watched other Soaps, Movies, T.V. Shows etc. and I have yet to come across a chemistry such as these two have. Some have been close, but no cigar. S/M & B/V are the end game...in my book.

I did leave 2013,because they were changing Sonny character and because of the pandemic I started watching TH-cam a lot and post came of Sonny and Brenda on the beach Puerto Rico, so couple days later I hit on it I didn’t realize it was the whole episode and that it had all the episodes, what a treat!! I watch 1993 To 2013,so I started to watch the reruns on GH hoping they would show Sonny and Brenda, but they didn’t!
This scene defined S&B EPIC LOVE for each other! It moved me to my core. I love this scene so much! VM and MB acting (more like Real Life played out on camera) was SUPERB to say the least! Vanessa KILLED these scenes. No other woman made Sonny feel the way Brenda does. This is the REAL TRUE Sonny I know and LOVE! EPIC Brenda in this scene she just grew up....GROWN WOMAN STATUS! LOVE! I'm kind of in a funk from watching the recently uploaded videos of Sonny and Brenda hating each other's guts so I'm looking through oldies LOL. I mean, I love the angst but I miss this. This scene is in my top 5 for sure. Brenda will always be the greatest love of Sonny's life. THE love of Sonny's life. End of story.

Wow I was in 7th grade at this time! This was my favorite couple! I loved all these scenes at the time! With Lila and Edward! And Ned and Lois! And the Puerto Rico scenes filmed at El Conquistador! These make me remember all the good times of the olden days!
When I was younger I Loved all the Excitement. & Passion of Brenda & Sonny and couldn't stand Jax BUT now that I am older I realize Sonny & Brenda were Soo toxic together he was cruel and disrespectful to her.
