I feel for Vanessa/Brenda for the way the writers wrote her character in this return. She was NOTHING like this back in the 90’s. It’s so disappointing for us Sonny/ Brenda fans. They were MAGICAL...and that’s the way we will always know them. This didn’t help fans who don’t know Brenda! That’s why they are haters. Sonny loved Brenda with all of his heart and ALWAYS will. We can only imagine the life they would have had together if Vanessa Marcil stayed permanently! I’m such a Brenda fan but I wouldn’t want her to return because the writers make her character totally opposite of who she really is! That’s why I don’t watch this soap anymore. Way better back in the 90’s ...the good ole’ days!!
Maurice's expressions are adorable in this scene. Also- he looks great. Good lights on him. Nancy and Vanessa both have HORRID shadows on their face and Maurice's light is perfect. I'd be pissed if I were V & N.

Am I wrong in saying that all I want to see is S&B on my screen. I just can't stand it when they are in scenes with others. They get a 15 second scene when together, but when they are with others they are long dragged out babbling sessions. I can care less about Sonny's spawns he had with other women, all I want is S&B. Thanks for the clip though.

When _our_ teenaged daughter got with a bad boy, my husband packed us all up and moved us to another state. Her only phone was our house phone, and we didn't let our kids use the internet. We made sure their schedules were _filled to the brim_ with supervised activities; your "free time" was time with family. Now all three of our daughters are grown and married to good men. Victory.

But---despite their 'close eyes on me' (and trust me they were CLOSE) I found a way to Bridge and tunnel it into the City in the early 90's to go clubbing and hang out whatever. Now I was no fool, I kept my grades up and was active in sports etc. I was also smart about what not to do and what envelope I could push a little when i was out and about. Did it always work out? No. But, inside those secret nights out I made a ride or die friend. But I had my ways. lol And thank God i did. because fast forward 20 years to when my former partner became abusive following a mental health breakdown and refusal to participate in therapy, take meds etc. Because due to a lack of DV services and a police department that treated DV in a 21st century way, not a 1935 way---I was able to channel those days doing teenage things that teenagers will do no matter what--and the secretiveness that went along with it to create an escape plan. And save my life. With the help of that ride or die friend I just described a few sentences ago. You don't want your children becoming cloistered to your home and hip. You don't want them not having friends. Because--guess what happens--REAL LIFE and then they won't have any coping skills, common sense or even a little street smarts to deal with things as they come. Or even deal with people. And life is not always pretty. Chaining them to the house does not ensure bad things won't happen. Sometimes people need to stumble a little, so God forbid if the big problems happen they don't roll up into a ball and melt away.

(Particularly after Brenda and Alec seeing a dead body in Sonny's coffee shop). 2.) Sonny framing Jax for drugs to help Carly. Both were "unforgivable" to her.
No, Suzanne gave brenda a decoy child named lucien and then kidnapped him to devastate brenda then planned to take off with her real son alec leaving brenda to search for a little boy that wasn't even hers then when she realized that Lucian wasn't hers she would never find her real son because it would be too late devastating brenda even more! This was all planned and revenge for brenda killing Suzanne's son Alexander!
