From the composer, Katherine Hoover (1937-2018):
"Reflections" is a series of free variations on a short sequence from the ancient Norwegian Olavs-fest in Nidaros. Most of it was written during a performing residency at Artpark, near Niagara Falls, New York, in 1982. I played for an hour out-of-doors twice a day, usually alone, but sometimes with mimes or storytellers. Each day I wrote a variation and performed it still in pencil sketch. Later that fall I reordered the set, and added a contrasting variation and a finale."

So I have a vid idea for you that I really need and I think every musician needs, there are some vids that are called study with me which help many students to have motivation to study so why don't you have practice with me vids ? I think that will help many music students to practice if they don't have motivation and you can also use the pomodoro technique so that it's easier for us.

I want to learn an easy instrument I tried violin well it didn't go well
it depends on the person but getting started wasn't very difficult for me. the only annoying thing is taking it out and putting it back in after playing for me lol

no me parece tan interesante la pieza ,, pero esta muy bien tocada sin duda ,,,,,es muy aburrida los giros melodicos ,,,,comparese con preludio a la siesta de un fauno ,,,u obras de ravel o debussy ,,,,,,,,no vale la pena gastar tanto tiempo si no hay arte musical ,,las gamas incaicas mezcladas con cromatismos le da un aire entre medieval oriental y expresionista frances ,, igual es una pieza que hay que tocarla ,,,,,da la impresion de una improvisacion ,,, bien hecho ,, do well ,,katie ,,
