There's an example of a completed card where the tabs on the sides can't be seen. The video doesn't show how this was achieved. Were the tabs cut off after the card was assembled? Or were pieces of cardstock added to hide the tabs?
I just purchased the set, and while I love the idea of the project, I am disappointed at the appearance of the tabs on the sides. The tabs sticking out significantly cheapen the appearance of a delicate and detailed project. These are not as apparent in demonstration videos, but are very apparent in real life. The completed assembly does not appear as a "finished project". How can they be hidden? I am thinking of somehow adding side panels without the slits and place these panels on each side to hide the tabs. But will this impede the movement of folding and unfolding? Do you have any ideas? Thanks

I have the Grand Dome and for it to work, the slits that are farther from the bottom edge have to be toward the bottom of the card for it to work.
Yes, the slits have to match the position of the tabs. I think that's what you 're saying and I definitely agree.
Is there a recommended weight of cardstock to use?
Hi Debbi, I recommend 110 lb paper. You can also try 80lb but the 110 lb will definitely seem more sturdy 💗

Hi Lynda! The half rosette is simply hot glued inside that front layer, and the bow is hot glued onto the front layer. Hope this helps!! Becca
